Typical Dak statement. He is one of those eternal optimists, generally speaking that's a good thing, but at some point, he has to realize a bit of reality will go a long way....

Big difference between having a positive view and being blind to your shortcomings.Every leader of every organization has to have a positive view of the future.
We might actually be close, if we had a real GM, that could make some things happen.
The DB had the play read like he was in the huddle. He didn't even pretend like he was going to cover anyone, just made a beeline to undercut the throw. Dez had no shot at doing anything. Are you trying to tell me Dez did not know what was coming???
Courage would have been admitting that this team ISNT close and that it’s going to take a lot of hard work and a lot of luck to be close within 3 years. Have no doubt. Dak has backed down. He decided this summer to back down on to Jerry’s lap.I guess I can't accept a leader of the team showing fear... I can't be mad a someone showing courage and not backing down.
Also, if yall dislike everything a person says, why yall keep listening? Every single one of these Dak interview threads, I see the same people, saying the samethings.
Dak doesn't even believe what he is saying. It's just snake oil flavored cool-aid. He wouldn't have been caught saying we ****** suck a few months back if he felt we really could compete with Philly right now.Typical Dak statement. The "we ****" statement was in the heat of the moment, even an eternal optimist can get aggravated, doesn't mean it's his normal state of mind.Dak doesn't even believe what he is saying. You need far more than that. You need Dak to make plays when teams shut down the run. Historically that hasn’t happened.Look make fun of him all you want….
If The jones would use free agency to sign quality starters and one elite player then this team can win a superbowl
It’s LITERALLY that easy!!!!! It’s right in front of the Jones face and that’s the frustrating part
Get Jeanty in the draft and hand the ball of 60% of the time and let Prescott go 15-23 every game and BAM you win
Every step any team takes to aquire talent is to back up their QB, no matter how good or bad they are. We just had two teams/front offices in the SB that surrounded their qb's with supreme talent.
If Dak was the only weaklink on a stacked team, you would have a point. So it's silly to expect Dak to win without much talent around surrounding him, then blame him when he doesn't.
Before you blame his contract, the $10-20M/yr difference didn't stop other teams from aquiring SB winning talent and it won't in the future.
Agreed. There have been lots of SBs won by teams when the quarterback either was terrible or was the proverbial "bus driver". So it doesn't have to be Dak making plays to win the game. You need far more than that. You need Dak to make plays when teams shut down the run. Historically that hasn’t happened.
Sure, but the insistence on a 4 year deal would, and did.Every step any team takes to aquire talent is to back up their QB, no matter how good or bad they are. We just had two teams/front offices in the SB that surrounded their qb's with supreme talent.

That is GM Jethro's fault.Sure, but the insistence on a 4 year deal would, and did.
Yep, just ask Baghdad Bob.Typical Dak statement. He is one of those eternal optimists, generally speaking that's a good thing, but at some point, he has to realize a bit of reality will go a long way....
He’s to worried about that mansion and therefore isn’t all in on the TeamPoopScott destroys a perfectly good mansion to build a new one. I don't care what that clown has to say.
