Which rookies are going to take the biggest leap going into Year 2?

Liufau. This defense is a good fit for him because it's rally to the ball with your hair on fire, also, Eberflus blitzed a little bit more last season and Liufau is good at that.

Liufau had some good moments as a rookie, and he should take a big step forward next season. Having Eberflus is going to strongly benefit Liufau's development...some of the best LB play the cowboys have had in many years was under Eberflus' watch.
If we can actually run the ball with some authority and stick with it, it will help Guyton out tremendously, thus allowing him to play downhill. And utilizing play action will give him a little advantage as well. Beebe will be a terror, and we should expect that.

ot tyler guyton.
i go back to his wk1 assignment vs browns de myles garrett.
he handled business against one of the best pass rushers on the planet.
i think he has a better yr2 under adams and riley.

c cooper beebe.
his college o-line coach is now his new o-line coach.
he looked like a potential pro bowl player.
i'm really excited to watch this kid develop.

de marshawn kneeland.
with a potential lawrence exit via f/a....its his spot to lose.
he showed flashes...and in college was a really good run defender.
we need it.

It's gonna be tough to evaluate this year cause they're all going to be in now new systems, there should be a lot of guys that step up, at least that's what I'm hoping for.
The second half of the season, some Stars should begin to emerge.
Overshown is the one I'm waiting to see, if he can salvage his career or if there's just too much damage.

Liufau should be a great fit for a Eberflus defense. I have concerns about how some guys will transition but not him. He could take his game to the next level.

For the next one I’ll go a little under the radar and say Flournoy. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if ends up taking some snaps from Tolbert as that #3 guy.
I think your right on Liufau loved his play think he will excel in Matt def
To be honest Im ready for Flournoy to step up had some good plays Been waiting for Tolbert to take a bigger step then he has.

With the amount of holes this team has if they are going to compete then having more than one 2 year player make the leap is going to be needed. Going to need at least 3. Guyton is needed the most. Him and Beebe take another step that will be big. Kneeled on defense. Those 3.

First thing I thought was Beebee, guy who never played Center before - at College or Pros.
Year 2 should be much better, and he wasn't bad last year.
Guyton is the one we need to improve the most tho !
He's part of a potential great interior group of three, with Martin retained or if Banks is drafted ... a ten year group.

Kneeland and Carson for me. Guyton and Liufau were hard not to choose.

Can we get a rookie to take a leap in the first year, for a change?

Philly and Howie Roseman just showed us again, with good GM work and solid player evaluation......you can have rookies productive in the 1st year......Mitchell and DeJean.

No one else picked him so I will. Ryan Flournoy for one. I think Kneeland will be the other. I hope it is Guyton but I wonder about his work ethic. We'll see how hard he works in the offseason to improve.

It helps with the best front 7 in the league. But agree, both are really good

Guyton and Kneeland. I like both a lot and think we found a couple players here.

Man, I'm so absolutely demoralized. It was hard to wrap my head around the thread. The idea of players on our team getting better just seems so far away.

A good subject.

There seems to be a lot of potential there.

I think the first five all improve absent extended injury (an unfortunate reality).

I'm thinking it is Liufau that has the breakout. I think he will be the "Overshown" of 2025. He will probably have more opportunity to shine as a playmaker.

I think both Guyton and Beebe will improve to the point of serviceable but not special. I don't think Guyton is the next Tyron Smith.

I think Caelon Carson will improve and provide depth that the Cowboys will need.

If Flournoy was to actually have a 50-reception season comparable to Tolbert in 2024 then I would have to include him as a potential "most improved".
