Which rookies are going to take the biggest leap going into Year 2?

Really???????
Smith is the only real solid player on the OL. Hard to argue about it. Martin is done and Steele has regressed from a couple of year ago. He gave up at least 9 sacks in 2024 and had issues with false starts. Wouldn’t mind trading him. The jury is still out on Guyton but his rookie season was disappointing. He was a penalty machine and was benched at least once. I have some real doubts about him. Beebe showed flashes and could develop into a solid center but I would rather see him at guard. Overall our a OL is not good.

Kneeland and Carson for me. Guyton and Liufau were hard not to choose.

If we are going to have any success we need Guyton, Kneeland, Beebe, Liafua and Carson to all step up there game.

It is easy to pick the ones that will get an increase in playing time in Kneeland and Carson.

You said Tyler is the only good player. That just isn't true.

I do agree and wish we could trade Steele. His contract makes that impossible though.

Beebe still needs more development to be a “good” player at least as a center. He would be better at guard.

Guyton deserves another year. Anyone giving up on him now is a fool.
Beebe did great for a player never having played center before
Agree on Steele.

Guyton looks like a real bust. He was benched because he isnt able to play tackle. He did not get better during the season. He had the same problems he already had in college.

He is not a tackle. But the real problem for him AND us he is not a guard either.

He is just a projection of what we are as a draft team: bad.

We busted on our first try to draft a new LT with Tyler Smith. He wasnt able to play tackle.

But luckily for us he has all the tools be a good guard. Guyton does not. The guy is done. Let him hang around for another two years as a backup but get ready to find a new LT.

If you dont believe me listen to Nate Newton about the guy.

Beebe for me.

I was expecting good things from him. I was very disappointed. I hope he can gain strength and understanding of the game.

Hope he pans out. We need this badly.

Wrong on both counts

I'm sorry dude but you can't just say things I'm telling you that here's what he meant big dog saying the only good player because ,Tyler Smith's an elite player ,he's an all pro ,he's a pro bowler no matter what unless he gets injured..

there are several good players still on this line as I said in the other post you probably thought it was too long to read but we're saying you're wrong..
I think there are a lot of good players on the line but not a lot of great ones can this line that finished last year or some resemblance if it needs tweaking with the new offensive staff be made to be better just with scheme and planning and play calling I say yes..
that's why you're looking at this as a full rebuild on the offensive line when you're saying there's only one good player now there's one great player Cooper BB was good, but if you just want to give him a good grade, that's great, but he is not developing into a good player, he's going to be developing into a great player, maybe even elite..
I saw the same things from him as a rookie, which by the way he was great as the second best grade out of all the rookie offensive lineman taken which is good, yes he was around 15th for offensive centers but he was a rookie, that's still not bad, that's good..
that's what we call good your definition of good is where you went wrong... But I'm seeing Cooper the same way I saw Tyler Smith in his rookie year he had some really good games some eye opening games, he had a couple games where he was off ,but on a whole his grade was very good and we could see what he could be and he turned into just that and I'm seeing the same things in Cooper BB..
I'm not seeing where you don't see it ,he's already good he stepped on the field good in my opinion right now as a rookie he's every bit as good as TylerB when he left he replaced Tyler seamlessly for a much cheaper price on a rookie contract with lots of ceiling.. I don't think Tyler is ever going to be better, I think that is his ceiling when he left, and he is good but that doesn't give the front office a reason to want to keep a guy like that for the money, when you could replace him with good right from the jump..

But hey we all see things differently but that's OK but most of us are disagreeing with you just say one good player is completely false...

Why? Beebe was quite competent at Center.

IMO, Guyton is going to turn out to be a top 10 OLT. He's got the 1st part of it nailed down, which is possessing the physical skills to play at a high level. Get the technique down, and he's going to be stud.

This should change.

10 a.m. - It's been a tough go thus far for Deuce Vaughn in his young NFL career, unable to find solid footing in the first two seasons with the Cowboys.

That might all change in 2025, as the coaching regime changes and a familiar face reportedly expects to reunite with Vaughn, namely Conor Riley, the offensive coordinator of the Kansas State Wildcats. Riley, of offensive line coaching fame as well, is working to take on the latter role with the Cowboys under Brian Schottenheimer.

This could mean big things for Vaughn and starting center Cooper Beebe alike, both of whom benefitted greatly from their time with Riley in Manhattan, Kansas.

As Vaughn enters a pivotal third year that is also headlined, currently, but a lot of upheaval at the running back position in Dallas, he'll try to show and prove that everything he put on film under Riley at Kansas State can translate to the NFL.

The guy who I think will put it all together - Liufau. He showed some big time ability in a couple games last year, and LB is usually a position where young players take major strides after their rookie year.

I'm nervous about Guyton and Kneeland. Guyton needs no explanation, but Kneeland had zero sacks last year, and he quietly received 250 snaps. Kneeland showed some signs of life as a run defender, so I'm not writing him off entirely, but he's got to get to the quarterback.
