I would only use "bet" as past tense as well... This sounds like some of the crap that got added to the dictionary later lol.

I am a Dak backer. I remain shocked by the amount of hate he gets. That said I hope he understands the impact of paying him $40MM when his market reall is in the $32/34MM range. You can add some key players with the difference. He wants to help the team win, correct?

To be fair. I’ve never once seen a quote from Dak that said he expects 40.

not once.

In this video. It appeared that he was just doing his best to deflect the question without directly answering it.

Not sure hate is the right word. I think we all were disappointed in this year with everyone that includes Dak. He is ok but he is no where near great. I think most of us are frustrated that if he gets 37 or so this team probably won't be great. Only QB that has been paid that won SB has been Brady and he tool lot less so he could have a team around him.
