And the biggest ? of all isn't the Cowboys, it's the opposition. They seem to be better at picking the right FA's.

If I were a betting man, without all of the necessary info available yet, I would say better, 1 game better at 9-7.

I'm big on calling out hypocrisy and obvious double-standards where I see it. Especially from the few remaining Garrett holdouts that still can't accept the fact that he was nothing but a decade long waste of time and a failure.

That's his legacy.

For some people, none of that matters. McCarthy has to do better in year one than Garrett ever did. That's their double standard on full display. It doesn't matter that he has 25 free agents and the big contracts to worry about after Garrett squandered it all.

Some things were put upon him unfairly by Jerry.
He certainly wasn't the worst Cowboy coach ever.
He may be the hardest to judge fairly with the conditions he worked under.
