And we dont want our best corner back.

It’s mind blowing to me the same fans that hyped upSanjay Lal and Kris Richard are now hyping up Nolan and his defense. There is literally no evidence he’s good. Stupidity is contagious.
Not a glass half full type person huh. By the way, they probably do want Jones back just not at the price he’s going to command. It’s hard to deny no int’s. You pay double digit millions for a CB and you better get some int’s.

The Green Bay, Chicago, and Detroit were the worst games played by the Dallas defense. The defense gave up 28 to Minnesota, but that was a good game by both teams and no ones fault for the loss.

If you break down the 8 losses the defense was responsible for 2(GB and Chi) but the offense was responsible for 5(NO, NY, NE, BUF, and Phi).

You say the defense shares blame in the Buffalo game, but the defense gave up 13 points in both halves. If the Dallas defense didn't step up and make Buffalo kick 4 FGs then it would have been a blowout. The offense scored on the opening drive and then dissapeared for 51 minutes of a 60 minute game. Had the offense done anything in those 51 minutes it would have been a competitive game, like Minnesota was.

I have explained the loss to NY in an earlier post. These offense's were considered weak, but if the Dallas offense shows up, they would have been wins, Dallas wins the division and makes the playoffs and at least 100 threads would not have been started.

The lost season that was 2019 falls squarely on the most inconsistent offense in the NFL.
It’s very naive and shows a lack of intelligence to blame either unit for losing a game. It’s a lot more complicate than that and ultimately all 3 phases of the team, not to mention the coaching, are to blame.

He also failed to mention the 3 winnable games in which this "poor" defense gave up 12, 13 and 17 points against the Saints, Patriots and Eagles. Lets keep things 100.

I am keeping things 100. I’ve said the cowboys offense had poor games.

blaming the whole season on just the offense is downright stupid. It’s not keeping it 100.

In the Minnesota game Dallas took the lead and had a chance to win at the end. Minnesota showed they were a good team knocking NO out of the playoffs on the road. That was just a good game won by Minnesota. Like I said earlier, no one was to blame for that loss.

Answer one question, if the Dallas offense shows up against NO, NY, NE, or Philadelphia would Dallas have won the division and made playoffs?

Sure

Now answer this question, If the cowboys special teams actually makes one damn play or gives the cowboys offense good field position one time ever, do the cowboys possibly win those games and go to the playoffs?

remember that New England game? One of the biggest plays of the game was our special teams crapping the bed and giving up a blocked punt which led to a TD for the patriots.

If the cowboys defense doesn’t let Mitch freaking Trubisky and Josh Allen look like Steve Young out there, do the cowboys win those games and make the playoffs?

that’s my point. Apparently you aren’t getting or don’t want to get.

if you want to lay blame for the seasons overall failure on the offense, go for it. I’ll continue to expect the entire team to try and win games.

You blame the offense for being inconsistent when they had horrible starting field position all season and only started with the ball in opposing territory one time in 16 games. And then you want to blame them when they don’t score much against good defenses. Of course they Didn’t score much against good defenses when they had to drive the ball 80 yards every time they got it. Good defenses don’t give up 80 yard TD drives very often.

Nussmeir, Moore and Lett only ones retained.

Nussmeir moved back to his more normal QB coach
KM staying as OC of course, but with a touch of MM's offense merged in.
Lett staying but basically demoted to a DL assistant as he was the DT's coach.

O'Quinn put back to the scouting department. So I won't count him as staff that was retained.

I am fine with these moves.

we should have kept our OL coach. MCol was doing an excellent job.

the OL coach before Colombo, a disaster. Didn’t even finish the season.

why did they fix what wasn’t broken?

so MM could hire his old buddy.

Our ST was a killer. We had a rookie OC trying to call plays with JG having his say in it. And the players didn’t execute as well. I think this team knew our HC was a goner. Defense could have played much better. Was a team thing. I think MM can pull it together I just don’t know if he can do it in the first year.

This comment is laughable.

The lack of intelligence is seeing a game and not being able to break it down.

The offense doesn't score, team loss, or better yet, coaching. Defense gives up 40, team loss, or once again, coaching.

Remember, the players are never to blame.

"He" is the key word here."He" failed to mention the offense lacking in 3 other losses. "He" failed to mention the great defensive performances in 3 other losses

"He" kept it 50 to cherry pick and bolster his boy..............................."He" is Sturm, not the honorable DakPresgoat

You wouldn't be talking about these 3 losses would you

NO 12 Dallas 10
NE 13 Dallas 9
Philly 17 Dallas 9....biggest game of the season

It's almost as if Dak can't hit the broadside of a barn at times..... And people wonder why I'm hesitant on Dak

Don't get me wrong either - our 1 score games were dismal as well

It was actually the barns fault that it couldn't catch the passes that were behind it or in the dirt. Let the Barn hit Free Agency

You can’t read. I said all 3 phases of the team (that means players dummy) were responsible as well as the coaches.
