Really starting to sweat it out now, aren't ya..........this is starting out to be a spectacular day!

So tough to continue loving Rayne Dakota, unconditionally, even as he extorts the Dallas Cowboys
I can't wait to hear you whine once Dak gets his new big contract. :muttley:

So what has the Dak era gotten Dallas in terms of deep playoff runs????? Let's see, 3 playoff games with a 1-2 record. Wow, Dallas sure is dominating under Prescott.
The crooked officials stole that division playoff game against Dak and the Cowboys during the 2016 playoffs. Cowboys should have made it at least to the NFC Conference Championship game. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. Yet, here you are gloating and celebrating because of it. Says what kind of a "fan" you truly are.

Did you miss last season? Pretty good OL and great RB, and lousy NFCE opponents = 8-8 in a contract year. Commanders have Dan Snider just like we have JJ. We waste our draft picks just like Commanders. Dak was backup QB, average at best, who got to play behind a great OL. Dak generated great stats; an asterisk for last year as those stats came against teams with losing records. Dak is slow to read, slow to react, and not a real accurate passer. And there is Jerry, along with blind fans, encouraging spending money on a mediocre QB. It’s like this team forgot what it takes to be great and will settle for mediocrity. The Giants and Eagles are going to improve while we, the Cowboys, are stuck on stupid.
Exactly . Paying Dak this way is settling for mediocrity.

Yet another blind fan who blames Garrett, the refs, the defense, the special teams, the cheerleaders, the waterboy.....everybody but Dak gets blame. You people are pathetic.

The Dallas Cowboys QBs have received all of the blame or none of the blame by a large portion of the fan base since 2001.

Think about what you just said. All Romo's fault for the Cowboys scoring 48 points and the DEFENSE giving up 56 points. Repeat the defense gave up 56 points and you want to blame 100% on Romo? What would it take for you to even look at the defense? Giving up 100 points?
That game was Romo in a nutshell. Played TD to TD with the great Peyton Manning. With two minutes to go had the ball in his hands for the game winning drive. Then he goes out and throws an interception to set up Denver to win the game. I was done with Romo after that game.

You're pathetic with your blind one player hatred blame game. Please explain how losing to the Packers during the 2016 playoffs was Dak's fault?

The board voting on Dak is showing a majority now against Dak’s contract proposal . This says a lot .
Most people are against paying any player unless it is a rookie contract, incentive based contract, vet minimum contract, or a "team friendly" deal. We have a bunch of Poindexters on the board more concerned with the salary cap than getting talent on the field. Ironcially, most of the pocket protector geeks will then get mad at Jerry when Forbes releases the Most Valuable Sports Teams list.

Daks fate is officially sealed. Even if they sign him to this Bloated Contract the fan base will now officially blame him for not being able to get the other players needed to complete this team.........stick a fork in him.

Fans will never forget this "me first" drama that he has dragged this team and its fans through. The damage is done
Yeah, no matter how you slice it, this is pretty dumm on Dak's part.

It's funny how some fans think they're even remotely qualified to determine a player's salary.

I can't blame them, I was the exact same way. It's just gotten ridiculous to where we don't want to keep any talent unless they get paid considerably less than what they could probably get elsewhere.

I don't think anyone has any room to talk with regard to another person's salary. Prescott got paid under a million a year for 4 seasons; he should get whatever he can. It's a business. It's a job and who knows how long his career may be. I think there are a lot of entitled fans. While I think the amount QBs get in general seems high, who's fault is that?
It would be warm and cozy if every player signed for less, but that's not realistic. Elliott and Lawrence aren't taking heavy fire.
