Clueless will blame Dak when Cooper signs with another team... actually, Cooper signing with another team will be a blessing in disguise. Cooper isn’t that good, he’s too feast or famine for my liking, and he will never come up big vs a quality corner/secondary. Cooper is not built like that. He’s a p . . . . !

If they lose coop, they'll be sitting here in 2020, with the 2017 and 2019 1st round picks no longer on the team, that is b-r-u-t-a-l!
They drafted more All Pros than any team in league since 2010. Take the good with the bad

doesn't matter, this team, today needs their 1st rd pick producing at a high level, never mind not being on the roster.

With the quality of receivers coming out this year, why would you pay any injury-prone veteran a bunch of money?

Still trying to wrap my head around letting go of your 1st round pick in less than 2 years without a career ending catastrophe. What is going on here?

Because 1) it's rare rookie WRs make a huge impact like Cooper made for us 2) you already spent a 1 pick on Cooper, letting him walk after 25 games is a real waste of that pick 3) many of the rookie WRs will likely bust, so its a risk taking one of them and thinking they can replace Cooper.

Not to mention we only have so many draft picks. We haven't exactly crushed the draft recently

this wr class is 6 rounds deep good. We don't have to draft a guy at 17. MM has a BPA mentality on his draft board. It doesn't matter..if said player is rated and slotted high and is avail at 17, that's the pick. Could be WR,DT,SAFETY who knows. My suspicion is Epenesa will be the pick or Delpit. We keep hearing how we love Curtis Weaver..but I aint buying that. Its a smokescreen.

Cooper had a stretch in 2018 that "made an impact". He played 25 games, he wasn't very impactful in a good majority of those. More importantly, he didn't exactly take our team over the top. We went 8-8 with a full season with him.

By letting him walk we have a ton of cap space, but it’s really bitter to give up a 1st for a season and a half. If they weren’t going to extend him they should have never traded for him

That's Cooper's fault? Letting go of a 1st rounder after 1 year is asinine.
