I put the blame squarely on the front-office for this entire mess.
I don't, I believe the front office played this next to the best. Dak was a 4th rd pick and played like a 4th rd pick this past season. Couldn't beat Philly or the Jets when he was needed the most. Watch what happens this year...haaaaaaa!

Dak playing crazy hardball could mean he will not have his favorite WR. If Coop hits free agency there is a good chance we lose him. Not sure how Dak does not see this? Why cant Dak at least move some on his side to meet the Cowboys?

Wouldn't it be Coopers fault because he is asking for too much?

IN case you haven't been reading all the cap numbers for the last year on the Cowboys. They have 70 million in cap space this year. They can sign pretty much anyone they want.

What they are doing is avoiding doing something really stupid. Which I applaud them for. Its about long term success, not one year success.

Letting a guy like Jones walk is a perfect example of doing the right thing.

Blame the idiot GM for 3 horrendous contracts he handed out last season.

this. Stupid give up a first unless you are also extending the deal at the same time. Just stupid

100% agree. Should have signed him straight off when they traded for him.

This might be a new screwup for Jerry.

Yes you have to wonder what Dak would have taken after 2018, would he still have been wanting the alleged $40 mil, or even $35?

Though a lot of Cowboys fans wouldn't have wanted him to get a deal after 2018, after doing things like the T. Crawford deal...

Ironic because those of us that like Dak have been telling the Dak trolls last offseason that they needed to sign Dak because the longer we wait, the more expensive he will get. The trolls said we needed to wait longer to see if Dak was good enough. Now its the Dak trolls telling everyone how dumb the Cowboys are for waiting.

I wish every 4th rounder could play like Dak did this past season. What a ridiculous statement.

Clueless minds will blame Dak, but it’s obvious that Coop is demanding more than Cowboys are willing to pay. Has nothing to do with Dak Prescott.

I actually think the Cowboys are making the right decision with Cooper.

We can, and will, blame Dak for everything. Why not blame him for this too?

We all know the haters will blame Dak they blame him for everything. Regardless what Dak is asking for it’s not like signing Cooper will be a bargain.

I blame the FO for one of the worst trades they made in recent years.

Now we think he is not worth the amount of money he will demand ? Then why did you traded for him in the first place ?

1 1/2 years of service for a first round pick. Good Job JJ+SJ!!!!

I am sick of all the nonsens these two idiots fabricate.

You said it. I find it refreshing that Jerry is being held at bay. I witnessed the late 90s early 2000s. Would prefer never to be in cap hell again. I'll take my chances.
