Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign K Greg Zeurlein

An option that was so superior, every NFL GM had him sitting at home 12 games into the season.

I'm glad he kicked well here, but it was 10 kicks over 3 games. Lets not soil ourselves because of that small of a sample size.
What in the Mickey Spagnola is this?

81 games is a decent sample size.

73% connect rate last season. Not really anything to get excited about

Those are two other kickers who are also in the top 10 in career accuracy along with Forbath who have less attempts from 50 per game than him. Guess the coaches must know they can’t hit from 50 either.

Thanks for agreeing with my point, very kind of you.

Kicking for New England is not the same as kicking for horrible teams like the Commanders were. What's your explanation for how super fantastic dyno-Forbath was cut six times?

Fassel has been pretty good so if the Punter is not up to snuff he want be here

Chris Jones also has a 2 Mllion dollar salary, so there is some pressure on him to start with.

What about a punter?? Chris Jones hasn't been very good.

Id imagine we'll probably get a punter in the draft or as a UDFA. Personally, I'm hoping for an Aussie. McBriar was excellent, and hopefully we'll find one just as good.

Good ‘ol straw man. Be better than this.

87%, 95%, 86% = averaged 90% over 3 years prior to 2019.

Fair enough -- averaged 90% over a 3 year period, sure. But "prior 3 years, he had hit 90%" read like he made 90% of his FGs 3 seasons in a row.

He no doubt had a strong run from 2016-18. Let's hope he can replicate that, because he's not going anywhere with that guaranteed salary.

Good 'ol Internet Fandom. "He's great at his job, except for all those times he got fired. Just look at what he did in the last half hour! "

It's a flip of the coin. I don't have any more trust in him hitting a game winning 50 yard FG than Forbath. Probably less.
