The Cowboys messed up by not going after Case Keenum or Marcus Mariota.
But they still could get Derek Carr or possibly Deshaun Watson if they went after them according to some reports.
Dak is okay, but he's not a leader and definitely not a $30 million per year talent. Not yet, anyway.
Dak's problem is while he has skated along under Garrett..

and let Jerrah make all his quotes about Dak is our future..

he is not old enough nor experienced to know this is not reality.

Its Showmanship to sell product.

Not to mortgage the team to his performance which is heavily tied to the 100s of millions of dollars tied up in the organization.

Dak..wake up before you end up in Chicago on a December afternoon in 20 degree weather and expected to win.

Good luck son.

On the count of 3 and when I snap my fingers..

You will awaken and sign your contract and be in ATT with all your buddies.

1-2-3 snap.

And you should be shamed. Nothings changed. Dak will get his contract and lead this team to the Super Bowl.
Maybe he will lead us to a Super Bowl, but that has nothing to do with folks guaranteeing he will get the big contract this year! And by the way they said get used to it. It's almost as if they knew something others did not. Like they had inside info. "Dak was going to get a big contract this year so shut up", they proclaimed. So your right nothing has changed for folks who were not sure he would get the big contract. But for those who proclaimed, "he would get a big contract this year, so dont bother commenting on this topic, cause your too stupid to understand what's going on". Well, yea looks like something has changed.

Since 2016 its all downhill for us and Dak.
As QB he influences our destiny more than any other player.
His flaws are many and have been posted here numerous times.
He claims to fame are beating up on Dog teams and falling like a cheap deck of cards against good defenses.
8-8 do it for you bud?
Probably as you are a Dak fan first then again who knows what team you support as I believe when Dak leaves you will follow him.....

He is going to get a big contract this year. What, do you think he’s going to hold out?

You do realize teams and tagged players have until July 15th to reach an extension agreement, right? Your victory dance is 80 days premature.

I'm pretty sure the prevailing attitude was, he will not have any franchise tag at anytime. Trust me no victory dance here. Just observations.

Actually, this year is all about Dak. Last year, it was all about Zeke. But with Zeke in camp (all this assumes the coronavirus situation is under control by training camp), a new offensive-minded coach in McCarthy, a healthy Amari, a more-seasoned Pollard (and a coach who will know how to use him) and a new weapon in CeeDee Lamb, there are simply no excuses for Mr. Prescott. We haven't had an offensive like this in quite a while. The car's engine is revving strongly, the lights are blaring, the music is blasting, the body is fresh and polished and the keys are in the ignition. Now take the driver's seat, adjust the seat, put it in gear and time to drive this Mustang, Cowboy (Dak)!

Dak hasn't shown the maturity to lead the Cowboys on the field or off.
He needs to see what life is like behind the offensive line of one of the other 31 teams and what it's like to actually have to produce in order to keep his job.
This haggling over his contract because he thinks he should be paid like he's the best is making me sick to my stomach to watch.
He doesn't produce when the team needs him to lead, and apparently feels as if he is special even though he choked through the entire 2019 season.
It's time to end this privileged mentality instilled by Garrett once and for all.

An interesting twist that GB drafted a QB in the 1st and Rodgers likely won't be there next year. I wonder if McCarthy would rather have Rodgers over Dak.

The Cowboys might get to a Super Bowl, but it won't be because Dak led them there.
He might drive the bus, but the team will have to be good enough to carry him.
No, he’ll carry the team like he’s done for the past 4 years. The only reason they had any kind of success was because of Dak overcoming the coaching staff.

most ignorant post ive seen in some time.

Saying Dak doesnt show maturity to lead this team on the field is stupid beyond words. If you want to say he needs to improve on taking control in big situations then id agree. As i think he has regressed there or maybe the team has kept him from that and telling him just run the play we call.

Another stupid part of your post is you saying he is saying he needs to be paid like the best. His reps are not agreeing to a deal because of the length of the contract not the money. He wants 4 yrs the Cowboys want more. The money part has been agreed to per reports.

Its infuriating that Cowboy fans are the idiots instead of opposing fans. Trying to insert and argue points about his impending deal that arent even a issue between the both sides.

Some of you should really just look for another team and save yourself a headache.

I dont normally resort to name calling but this one stupid post. Sorry mods.
