i'm not putting any loss or win on any 1 guy.

Our offense looked great in wins and so did our defense for the most part. If only we could have 16 complete games instead of just the 8. I blame the offense as a whole for 4 losses and the defense for 4 losses.

I agree. After a loss I can go back and find plenty of blame on plenty of players and coaches. Same with wins.

"""""""Carson Wentz in 2019:
-26 interception opportunities
-6 interceptions
-1 interception that wasn't his fault

The luckiest quarterback in the NFL in terms of interceptions that should have been and interceptions that weren't his fault.""""""""
WOW! The Only thing better than a Cowboys win is an Eagles loss... Im almost not joking.

Prediction

This thread goes the same way As the last one using this guys data.

comments about whether QB Data Mine twists their stats to somehow make Dak look good.

Also, expect lots of comments along the lines of “all I know is what I see and I saw him miss on a lot of throws. Name one? Well, I can’t think of any right now but what about the Eagles game ?!?!! Clearly Dak sucks in the clutch”

No...…...the best one is...….……."who cares, those great stats are hollow". LOL

Rock...8-8. That's the argument. Ignoring everything else that composes a team, but Dak couldn't get his team above .500. It is a lame conclusion, but "8-8" will be their dark horse because what else gives them any perceived credence except this (their) flawed "expert" assessment?

No you nailed it. Even with the amazing season that Dak had, he couldn't get them past 8-8. So what does that tell you?

Defense, coaching, special teams were pretty bad in order for that to happen.

What happened this offseason?

-Defense was the main focus of FA and the draft
-Entire coaching staff was fired save the OC (should tell you something)
-FG kicker was fired midseason and cowboys went out of their way to sign a kicker in FA
-New special teams coach.

I would never deny that a QB had a bad game and Dak had one that day. I also will say every QB has had bad days. I don't care which QB you name they have all had bad games.

If it was ONLY Dak and he was just off and throwing picks to lose the game then its more of a big deal.

But the entire offense and coaching staff didn't show up that game.

And THAT was the game that got Garrett fired.

Why would anyone complain about that?

I can't argue with that. Troy didnt have to throw much either. Time of possession keeps our mediocre defense off the field. Let's see what MM does.

What is there to argue about? That statements says nothing of consequence.

If anything, it says more about the overall quality of the team overall. Doesn't say anything about Dak.

The most bizarre aspect of this entire Dak subject is the fact that the guy is 4 years into his nfl career and people want to label him as a finished product. I can't fathom the thought process behind that. Besides that fact, he's been coached by one the worst coaches in the NFL for his entire career. Let's see what the guy can do with a real football coach in charge.
I’ve posted some detail on this before but if you want to see something interesting go compare Brees and Dak’s first four years.

News flash - it looks good for Dak

Brees didn’t become Brees until he went to New Orleans and ended you with a likely HOF coach

How about the same stat for QBs vs teams over .500 or vs playoff teams?

To say he’s inaccurate is crazy, but to say he needs to be more consistent is reasonable. If only that was the argument anti-Dakers used then these conversations could be much more constructive, instead they want to claim he’s average smh.
