Imagine being SO stupid that you cite Dak going 8-8 as the reason he sucks (despite that pesky 40-24 overall record)... while simultaneously giving Andy Dalton a pass for going 2-11 last year and having 4 straight losing seasons.

Because the Bengals have the worst team in football and Dallas had what many thought was the most talented roster in the league and best team they have had since the 90s.

Dallas greatly underachieved and going on the road and getting nothing offensively was a problem last year when we weren’t playing the Giants or Washington.

This whole situation begs the asking of a serious question. What is better for the team in the long run? Andy Dalton for now and beginning the search for the next franchise QB + whatever you can do with $35 million in extra cap space or Dak Prescott? I’m torn at the moment but you post one practice video of Dalton slinging it to our WRs and hitting them in stride and I can see myself jumping to that side and never looking back. The Dallas Cowboys didn’t start with Dak Prescott and they won’t end without him. I think I would begin playing serious hardball with Prescott now and force him to have the conversation with his agent about what will happen if a deal in Dallas doesn’t get done. I’m not sure they have gone there yet but I would make sure they have to now.

Dak was awesome.. For a rookie...

The problem with Dak is he can’t play up to a big contract until maybe year 4 or 5 of a deal and he’s telling Dallas he wants a short deal so he can get a new big deal he is not worth to end his career.

Dak is money hungry.

Money hungry QBs don’t win championships.

QBs on rookie deals and vets making 13% of the cap or less win Champiosnhips.

Dak will have to Eli Manning his way to a Super Bowl on a big deal because he is that kind of player. A solid QB at best that needs a lot of pieces and luck around him.

His best shot at the Super Bowl was the past 4 years and we have a whopping 1 playoff win to show for it.
