I'll do the math.....if Mahomes is worth 40 million per........ and Dak is about half the QB ............ I'd say a 10 year , 200 million dollar contract is about right.
Dak is 0-2 in playoff games where the opponent scores 30 or more points. Guess how many playoff games the Cowboys franchise has won when the opponent scores 30+ points: ZERO. Hmmm...you don't suppose you need a little defense, too? The Cowboys championship teams had it.
Dak isn't Mahomes, but put any QB you want out there and they're only going so far when they have to carry the defense. Ask Marino and Fouts how that works.
One plays for Andy Reid and the other for Garrett!!! LolInteresting..How many career playoff and SB wins for each?

He turned it down betting on himself and proved to the Cowboys he’s worth more than they were offering. No Dak put himself on a one year deal last year (turning down a multi year deal for the same money as Goff and Wentz), this year the Cowboys are putting him on a one year show me deal. There's a difference

No argument there.Agreed he did do that, now it seems this year it's the Cowboys making him prove it again...or at least the next 9 days will tell us
It would be poetic justice if Dak beats Mahomes in the Super Bowl and Jerry is sitting there looking stupid.
Dak in his senior year, couldn’t beat a ranked team at 9-4. Like his fourth year here, his attempts went up and his rushing attempts dropped to 3.7 YPC.
Against LSU, he scored 13 points in garbage time in the 4th, down 21-6.
Against Texas, they got blown out 30-17, Dak scored on a run in the 4th in garbage time. The other TD was a 50 yard run in the second by a WR.
Alabama, they got blown out 31-6. Dak threw over 40 attempts at a 50% clip.
Ole Miss was up 28-3 going into the second half and blew them out 38-27, Dak threw two TDs in complete garbage time in the 4th and had a 1 yard run in the third. But guess what.. Dak threw at 74%...
Sounds like a familiar trend..
Remember when Mahomes started playing ironman football after halftime? Remember all those sacks and QB pressures he applied to the Texans offense? Remember how he made the Texans offense go three and out for most of the second half? Remember how his defensive play-making ability helped get his own offense into good field position? Yeah...... I don't either.Ask Mahomes who's team was down 24-0 halfway thru the 2nd quarter and rallied his team to a 51-31 win over the Texans in the playoffs last year....that is why he is getting 500m because he can carry a team when things aren't going perfect all around him
Thanks for admitting you'll always be a garbage man... but this thread is about football... not sanitation services.Once a Garbage man.....always a Garbage man!!

I agree with you... but if it was Dak in that situation, people would be pointing out he didn't put up any points and was down 24-0. My whole point was, while Mahomes rallied his offense... his defense decided to step up and only allowed 7 more points through the rest of the game. Meanwhile, they were getting the ball back so Mahomes and the offense could rally. If the defense continued to lay an egg, that game is never even close. Maybe that's why its called a team sport.I remember he was down 24-0 halfway thru the 2nd quarter cause his D couldn't stop a thing and he rallied his team, which still gave up 31 points in the game

I don't think it has any effect on Dak's situation. I cannot see the Chief's winning anymore SB's while Mahomes is there. They will win a lot of games I guess.
Not exactly true... If the Texans keep scoring, then they would keep using the clock... Therefore, Mahomes and that offense don't have the time or possessions necessary to hang 51 on them. And that is because when Dak gets down that much nothing rarely happens unless the other team starts to lay back, and even if the Texans kept scoring they needed another 27 to beat Mahomes in that game as he wound up putting 51 on them in 2 and a half quarters
Heck, just a few 1st downs. Didn't even have to score a lot more, just stop trying to throw the ball 80 yards and stop going 3 and out.Not exactly true... If the Texans keep scoring, then they would keep using the clock... Therefore, Mahomes and that offense don't have the time or possessions necessary to hang 51 on them.
