Grow upGo follow another team.
Grow upGo follow another team.
Get lost.Grow up
Nope!
Look at these numbers that better tell how good a QB performed compared to his contemporaries.

Dak beat Wilson on every statistical number...and most against Mahomes.
Y'all don't understand basic economics....THE MARKET justifies Prescott being paid like a top QB. It's just how it is, none of us have to like it but its honestly got nothing to do with us except we care about this football club. All the bickering and back n forth on this forums hasn't and won't change a single thing about what happens to Dak.
Passer rating is not as telling as QBR. That in itself tells me you don't know what you are talking about. Add in the other statistical analytics, that makes your argument even weaker, especially considering Dak threw more TDs than Wilson and just 1 less than Mahomes, plus for way more yards than both.Straight up TDs, INTs, and QB ratings are not the numbers we should be looking at. But the REAL numbers are statistical analytics. Got it.
Who else here is happy that a scrub like Dak friggin Prescott wont be the highest paid player in the league?

You should read it again. At no point can they get out of his contract anywhere near cheap. It's a ridiculous dead cap at almost any time.
Do you ever see the other side.
Dallas is in the driver's seat. They have Prescott for 31 million this year and 37 million in 2021 with no contract binding them. Why should Dallas pay 80 million in the next two years and more in guarantees when they can pay 68 million with no binding contract locking them in and still have the player. The tag is Dallas's friend in these escalating QB market.
Under this scenario Dallas actually has 2 years to find another solution if they choose to move on from Prescott.
If Dallas doesn't win in the next two years, Prescott will be gone ala Cousins. Book it.
This is how the team should play it.
Recheck the facts. Dak accumulated the 4th highest QBR last year, not 11th as you state. So I get this straight, the NFL who started compiling stats isn't as good as the stat ESPN made up 9 years ago. Oh on using ESPN's made up stat Prescott last season was 11th and based on that you want Prescott to be the 2nd highest paid player inn the NFL. And you insinuate that you know more. With logic like that you could lose your wannabe GM title.
.
.
He doesn't get it.ask the Commanders how that worked out
if you want D Haskins as our next QB, keep on hoping for Dak to do back to back tags.
That’s when you are likely to see what most of us here remember happened after Troy retired. Years of incompetency and floundering around at QB. This time, it’s not likely we get lucky with the next Romo to bail us out
you guys need to forget the stats lol.Recheck the facts. Dak accumulated the 4th highest QBR last year, not 11th as you state.

You think Jerry listened to the fans? When did that start happening?Dak will easily get $38 - $40 per year now at a minimum thanks to Mahomes' new 10 year/$503 million with $477 million in guarantees/$45 mil/year average new contract extension.
You "don't pay Dak" Daktractors are foolish for having pushed the tag and much lesser pay which Jerry obviously listened to. Who is laughing now? Not you. It's Dak because he now knows he is worth at a minimum around $40 mil/season which Jerry will have no choice but to pay Dak since the alternative will lead to years of average play + rebuilding for years to come + playing musical chairs at the QB position.
It takes a team to reach the playoffs. Dak did more than enough. Others did not. Dak has proven he keeps getting better every year. Easily a Top 5 QB. Would you rather have an average or below average QB?you guys need to forget the stats lol.
do you want a qb with great stats, or a qb that gets u to a SB??
They dont necessarily go together.
dak had better stats than probably all the nfc playoff qb's, yet they were in the playoffs, and he was watching on tv!
Garapolo made it to SB, and Dak probably out statted him ! and yeah I just made a new word, "statted" lol
ead about halfway down where they talk about the guarantees here's the quote "With, per multiple reports, only $63 million fully guaranteed at signing, it’s a pay-as-you-go deal for the Chiefs, who surely will want to keep Mahomes for the next 12 years, especially as the market and salary cap grow and the deal looks more and more like a steal for the Chiefs, if Mahomes keeps playing like he has for his first two years as a starter. It’s a no-lose proposition for the Chiefs, tying Mahomes to the team for a dozen seasons but giving the team flexibility to move on, if for whatever reason Mahomes at some point isn’t the guy he currently is."
Many years ago.You think Jerry listened to the fans? When did that start happening?
I doubt the fans had anything to do with it. Did he say they did? Many years ago.
October 7, 2007...
Jerry gives Romo first of two franchise record contract ($67 million) not even a full year (October 28, 2006) after starting for the first time. The fans definitely had a lot to do with it.
No the alternative is effectively the same QB for $3 guaranteed this coming season.Dak will easily get $38 - $40 per year now at a minimum thanks to Mahomes' new 10 year/$503 million with $477 million in guarantees/$45 mil/year average new contract extension.
