What's this offense going to be like?

I don't watch much football outside of Cowboys games. Yes i remember GB's style somewhat, mostly i remember AR rolling out or moving around and throwing passes on the money. I'm not expecting Dak to be AR, but for those of you who know about the coaching staff and player traits/skills, what are you expecting from this offense?

I like a offense that will throw downfield 20 plus yards if it's 2nd and 2 or 3. I also like striking when the iron is hot by going downfield right after a turnover etc. Will we see any of that?

I think there will be roll outs
Dak is actually fairly good outside the pocket and gives you a run threat that forces underneath coverage to come up
My hope is much more creativity
Lots more passes to WR wide open

What ever you like, but there was no need for him to come out swinging at me when i had no intention of insulting him or anything for that matter. He did so because he has a deep need to do so. If you wish to do the same that's up to you.

I will take a guess. The offense will play like crap when it counts like they have in the big games since 1996.

The Cowboys offense is loaded to the teeth with weapons. They have a multitude of options when it comes to attacking the defense. They are obviously going to have a great ground game headed by Zeke and Pollard. But this offense is now a pass-first oriented scheme because of the depth of its WR group. Within that approach, there are several variations they can utilize to fool defenses and keep the chain moving. Kellen Moore is being praised by Mike McCarthy for the scheme he has designed for Dak and company. So the sky is the limit. I can't wait to see what's in store for us Cowboys fans this season.

Zeke up the middle, Zeke up the middle, 5 yard pass to witten, and then punt!

My guess is we see a very similar offense system to what Dak has been running. Biggest changes likely come from personnel packages, play calling sequences etc. Our biggest issue was in scoring. Hopefully they can fix those issues but we will see.

When the defense stops Zeke we will have loss, loss, loss, and more losses.
All this changes when a change at QB is made during the season.

"Taking what the defense gives you" VS getting greedy because you are getting away with it at practice. This is the challenge that Kellen Moore will be faced with as OC this season. Underachieving is what happens when you go the greed route. Be smart and take what the defense is giving you.

I hear conflicting comments. McCarthy has said he has much to learn about this offense.And Dak has recently said we didn’t communicate well.

Jerry insisted on retaining Moore after we had the #1 offense in NFL. I thought McCarthy was going to instill his schemes? Sounds like it’s going to be the same as last year.
