Man that sucks. I know injuries happen and I hope he comes back but damn, it’s always something for us.

What? We’ve been one of the most fortunate teams for years as far as injuries go. Jerry drafting knuckle heads with known character issues is self inflicted.

Well, maybe this is why Tyrone Crawford is still on the roster. He's overpaid, sure, but the Cowboys at least have an experienced alternative in case McCoy is done for the season.

what case ?
Crawford won't be able to be an immediate replacement starter at DT.

He was actually replaced in starting lineup with Maliek Collins in 2016, because he was too light in the azzz, to hold up vs the run in 2016.
he offers nothing at DE as a edge rusher outside, and he's suited more an a part time, rotational nickel rusher

And at his age, his medical concerns (double hip surgery) and his recent trend of injuries (shoulders, hip) Crawford himself could
likely be subdued by injuries that takes him out for an extended time as well.

You really don't need a MRI to know if it's ACL or not - a Lachman's test will confirm it well enough.

Not the greatest thing for a 32 year old DT to get.

Crawford is mostly hype, with little substance.

He is versatile and plays multiple positions on that line and has a vet presence whether we on the outside know it or not.

I mean 5 sacks for a DT is not bad at all. My concern is we signed Poe and McCoy who were the starting DTs on one of the worst run defenses in the league last year.

You wouldn’t know it from these threads, you would think we just put together the best duo to ever play the game.
