I'm not the fool trying to justify $9.1 million for a backup! Take your own advice!

"
Depth" doesn't cost more than the newly-signed starters - combined. When you don't know, don't talk.

That doesn't make it so, and sure doesn't make him worth that money.

Looks like he's the de facto starting 3-technique now. I'd rather have an overpaid Tyrone Crawford at that spot than Trysten Hill any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Then people wonder why Dallas keeps Crawford year after year. They will plug him in there at 3tech once poe gets back and they wont miss a beat.

3T becomes like our center spot. An ok - solid vet that has a couple of young guys behind him that can hopefully surpass him during the year and become the future at that spot. Its sucks losing McCoy, but its not a season breaker.

exactly. The response makes even less sense because it was a contract Crawford had already signed years prior- it wasn’t a choice of Crawford or these 3 players. Glad we have Crawford for this exact situation.

The idea is to rotate them in and out. Hoping the younger and other players can hold up also..

I get that, but that also presents problems, how many times did we Lawerence on the sidelines when we need a play or a big play happen, rotation is good, but you also need rotatable players.

Yeah, pass rushing downs he will be missed for sure. He was gonna give us that push we have missed...

Ruptured Quad Tendon, according to Stephen Jones, but he will still be out the remainder of the season as it will require surgery.

This gif captures what it's been like to be a Cowboy fan for the last 20 years.

Sucks for the team, but even more for McCoy. Quality dude and player. Hopefully, Hill can show that he has grown up and become a factor on the line. It's needed.

Do we get this year back on his contract. Guess it don’t matter, he may not have 3 years left anyways.

The next name on what I fear will be a long list of league wide injuries as things are starting to ramp up for the season.

It's far from the end of the world losing DT, G. McCoy for the year.

There are others to fill that void, and possibly do so in good form.

I remember recently when MM stated he's not adverse to rookies.

Let's be aware that Neville Gallimore is one DT who has promise.

Other than that, Hill has performed impressively in training camp.

Our recent situation is far from hopeless, from the looks of things.
