I agree. Now, is Dak a generational talent like Mahomes or Lamar Jackson? No. But Dak is very, very good and as long as the Cowboys keep a strong supporting cast around him they can win the Super Bowl. Same as most of the other starting QB's in the NFL.

i want to wait and see dak playing under mac for a season before rushing to judgment. but what he accomplished under garrett suggests he's one of the best. mahomey has reid. jackson has harbaugh. goff has mcvey. brees has payton. brady had belichick. coaching matters. dak's had garrett/linehan.

Hey look, it’s this thread again.

Mahomes already won a Super Bowl. He seems destined for Canton. Lamar still has a career to play; he could be the next Randall Cunningham or the next RGB3.

As for Dak, this year will be key to his legacy because he has never had so much offensive talent and offensive minded coaches. But he needs to bring home a few trophies.

Wentz is talented, but it seems a lot of posters credit him with being a Super Bowl winning QB when really he was a regular season QB for a team that won in the playoffs and Super Bowl with another QB. People point to him playing the bulk of the regular season, and playing well, and that having a lot to do with the season, and there is truth in that, but a lot of QBs have played well in the regular season to help their teams get into the playoffs. That does not, in and off itself, make a QB a Super Bowl winning QB.
