but you are factually wrong. We were interested in free agency and as a trade but not enough to overpay.

This is confirmed by numerous sources. Not fans.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/08/23/will-cowboys-have-interest-in-earl-thomas/

"The Cowboys, of course, make sense since they tried to trade for Thomas in 2018, but a source said “nothing right now” when asked if the team would have interest in him.

They didn’t have interest in Thomas in 2019 free agency, but that seemingly had more to do with his asking price than anything else."

Knew I wasn't wrong. They threw a 2nd at the Seahawks and were rejected, the Cowboys then ended any interest in the player IMO.

How can you say he’s sucks have you ever watched him play a season. When he was on the field he actually Performed.

I

This is mind blowing. I think I will just bow out of this one. Sadly, the only thing from here on out that I will remember about you is that you were the guy that thought Woods was better than Thomas.

He’s not coming here....bet this is all just click bait

Don’t think so.

Earl Thomas to Dallas makes too much sense.

We are a legit contender but adding him kinda pushes us towards the top of the NFC I think.

New Orleans and San Fran are clear cut 1 & 2 but I think Dallas and Tampa are right there.

I expected it haha. I knew people would be in here saying let’s just roll with who we have. Or, Woods is as good as ET. Don’t take it personal . It’s a byproduct of having Coach Mediocrity for as long as we did.

Blows my mind that someone would actually say that Woods is better than Thomas. Wow!!!

HHCD is a nobody being outplayed by Darian Thompson, and was straight garbage last season while Woods was not.

HHCD hasn't done anything in a long time. Read up on the topic.
Trust me my cousins are packers fans, they told me haha has all the talent in the world but he’s straight up just dumb and blows plays

Let it begin

Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) Tweeted:
Ravens are moving on from Pro Bowl S Earl Thomas today, sources tell ESPN. They either will release him for conduct detrimental to the team - punching S Chuck Clark - or trade him. Dallas is the leading contender if he’s released, per sources. But his time in Baltimore is over. https://t.co/eJeTuHD1mI

I would not be thrilled to *trade* to get a malcontent for 10mil booted off the Ravens after they gave him a 20mil signing bonus last year. They're swallowing big to get rid of him.
https://overthecap.com/player/earl-thomas/1540/

Even without the trade, I don't think I want to pay him 10mil. Straight up, I'd rather have Griffen, and he costs much less.

It's likely a bidding war, and Stephen rarely wins those.

Insulting people because of their user name is pretty low.

Irony is so beyond him. QCE is in reference to when we drafted him and everyone(not including myself) proclaimed him as the next Aikman simply due to draft status.
I didn't get caught up in the hype, just like I'm not getting caught up in the hype of every shiny new toy whether it be free agent or draft pick.

Roy on the other hand finds no fault in any new acquisition and immediately claims they are the next best thing at their position even though it hardly ever pans out.
Roy is one of those that bought the Quincy hype which makes this even more ironic and funny. He's just too stupid to realize it. :lmao2:

Also when you have nothing to contribute to the topic and think it would be a good way to try and stray away from the topic he goes the Quincy Carter route even though it never has any relevance. I've also told him numerous times that I was no Quincy believer but it is literally ALL. HE. HAS. to try and make himself not look as stupid lol. So he pulls at straws and unfortunately pulls that straw often making himself look even more stupid.

You know Jerry is going to look into this especially since we need help at safety.

I think they are just preparing themselves in event Thomas doesn't sign with Dallas.

We have the money, he wants to play for Dallas and the Cowboys have tried to get him in the past. Both Woods and Ha ha deals end after this year so there is really no loyalty.

Keep an eye on the Raiders.......with Martinelli being the connection.
This, seems like no one was on his side to even want to give a 2nd chance. It was interesting listening to Lance Meadows from Maddog yesterday morning interview the beat writer for the team as they dove indept about the happenings.

Something I think is getting lost a bit is ET has had close to a HOF career. He thinks he can still play at a high level. So he's no ordinary Joe signing. If you sign him, you're signing a player who probably takes over the room......experience, stature, leadership. This is why as a team, you have to be sure he's a good fit.......

The Ravens are really the ones with egg on their face. Thomas signed a ridiculous contract with them, glad the Cowboys didn't pay it. Now they can have him for almost nothing and if he comes in and stays sane, it will be a windfall. Clearly an upgrade to a position that has absolutely killed us for years. I am not against it at all, just questioning the guy's sanity a little.. he's not getting younger either but anyone saying he wouldn't be an upgrade is a dope. LOL
