Broaddus on practice

on LVE...in the practices today he was super aggressive. They were working on him attacking the line of scrimmage in pressure packages.

on Redzone plays.....Daks ball placement was good and hit cooper in a super tight coverage. Made a couple of good back shoulder throws.
looks improved throwing the back shoulder fade's.

on the DB's.............Awuzie had an outstanding day and then was hurt. Not sure if its his knee and will wait to find out. Al harris is teaching them to
Turn and find the ball. A new technique for the DB's.
Diggs covered johnson and turned and knocked the ball away. Played with vision.

There are no battles for positions. They are going to start all the veteran guys. Williams is going to start at LG and Looney at C.

everson griffen is getting a lot of work and has no bad reps. he flashes more than Lawrence and aldon smith. Difficult guy to block because of how he positions his body and does not allow the lineman to get their hands on him. Taking reps from both sides.

Good day for tight ends, Shultz and Bell are able to get down the field. Jarwin also and he made a nice play in the end zone.

Said C. Wilson is the fourth wr, he is getting reps with the one's.

Donovan Wilson is having a great camp.

that was it...apparently they are going to talk about the safeties later I guess.

appreciate the info....feel like this would be much more appreciated in a non-ET thread lol

now mike fisher is saying they are working on this inside the building.

Broaddus is saying he thinks McCarthy will be ok with whatever stephen and jerry decide.

McCarthy should know what a beast at FS can do for you! Nick Collins was one of the best for a few years

ET being available would have been great news about 4-5 years ago.

He's 31 now, not the player he once was, and in the past couple months has been involved in:

**Being held at gunpoint by his wife
**A fistfight with a teammate

We'll overpay for him, crank up the hype machine to convince everyone that *this time* it's going to work out in our favor, and ultimately end up regretting it.
Greg Hardy redux.

He played very well last year, and 31 is not old for a safety. And he's vastly better than anything we currently have.

The off-field issues are concerning, yes. He's apparently quite the uncoachable loner at times.

Cowboys VP Stephen Jones was indirectly asked about Earl Thomas (name never mentioned) on
@1053thefan
: “Just as we didn’t talk about Everson until it was done, we found that works much better for us. As I said, we’re in it 365 days a year and we’re always looking to get better.”

-----------------

please let this happen,we are royally screwed if Darian freaking Thompson is starting for us.

This seems to translate to.....once he becomes real about how much money he wants, we would consider having him here.

Been saying it all day.....Thomas isnt settling for a small paycheck this quickly.

Once the entire league takes a pass, give us a call.

We could use him, with the understanding (and contract terms) that he is gone at the first problem.

A one year veteran minimum would make sense but nothing more I mean he has broken his leg two times in the same place.

I bet you were a JGeezy Fan. Out with the old way of thinking. Back to the days we added key pieces to win rings. Even when they said we shouldn’t

Maybe he did maybe he didn't. Depends on your perception.

If he did then that is a knock on him because the guy he is throwing under the bus stood their and took bullets for him many times over the last 4 years when he was lousy.

I personally do not think he did though. Again I do not even like Garrett because of the way he handled a number of things here but I don't think Dak is going to be taking shots at garrett.
He did.

Just yesterday people were blasting JG for saying he was happy with his guys in the locker room. Now Mike Mc saying same thing and people are slobbering over him...lol

So true.
With this in mind, I can't figure out why the head coach who hand picked his entire staff and ran the entire draft and has been given complete control of all personnel and staff decisions would be saying that he would be okay with a prospective player joining HIS team regardless of if he agreed with bringing that player in or not.

I mean it just makes total sense and fully supports all the statements that I have laid out here. It truly does.

Sooooo...

Is full authority regarding personnel matters a cherry picked game of who's in charge or is there one central figure calling ALL the shots as the fans have been led to believe?

Who makes personnel decisions?
