and knowing this his contract was cheap yet Jags let him go and 31 teams past on him on waivers..ironic one team grabs him while eating a sandwich , no rush no frenzy..

zeke cut today 15 teams go after him on waiver wire offering high picks 2nd maybe a 3rd at worse, bet my lunch thats fact..

LF had solid year last year no doubt yet his own team doesnt keep him with one last pretty cheap contract and 31 years didnt offer a 7th to go grab him up off waivers?

odd ,isnt it..first 3 years in the league zekes crushes LF just from scoring , overall yards , scoring titles etc etc I think LF injury history and lack of scoring tds got him cut, possible attitude etc who knows but zeke would not have cleared waivers, that i know..
Clearly something going on there.

In that regard, Tampa better give LF a very short leash because it sounds like they really have it going over there with all the players in the lockerroom super excited and busting tail.

im sure his contract whic is close to what the total number was in Jacksobville 3.5 mil is a game by game production layered deal, most likely a week to week paycheck, if he slips , TB has very little guaranteed money to pay if any at all..

Reminds me of LeGarrette Blount in many ways. A big power back that had some troubles in his career and ended up playing with Tom Brady. Fournette should only hope that things work out as well for him as they did for Blount.

But your post was using the defense of their stats were so close because there was nobody else around Fournette and McCaffrey to siphone off production.... yet Zeke had more touches than Fournette so it isn't a good defense.

Garrett was literally a dream come true for RB stats. He has fed Zeke through four seasons more than ANY RB IN NFL HISTORY, and would run Zeke's numbers up to the determent of team success. I blame Garrett for plenty of issues.
It is a good defense. If Zeke was in a similar offense his stats would be superior. Garrett just handed the football off. He did not put Zeke in position to succeed or anyone on this team. You guys get amnesia when it comes to Zeke.

Because I dont see much legit NFL talent beyond our top 3 WR's. I think we are very thin at the position. I think everyone we brought into camp beyond the top 3 are fringe guys. We just kept the two best. Id be all for adding a legit WR like Sanu to play 4 WR sets amd provide depth
we are thin at WR? did you just say that? we are three deep potentially with 3 #1 WRs....and you think we are thin....which team is this deep in talent at WR?

I mean why would it? You have a agenda towards Zeke...that in itself doesn't even make sense lol.

No your argument doesn't make sense.

Going from a better offense that sees great production from every single RB it put back there, (Murray, McFadden, Morris, Pollard, etc) and putting him in a worse offense with a coach that doesn't give him the most touches in league history, will not in fact improve Zeke's production.

That is a losing argument.

Despite where I stand on a player, I am able to sre logic on either side of debates. This one is not backed by any sort of logic.

Your initial defense was that Fourette was the only show in town and so his numbers will be better because the coach will HAVE to feed him, I then pointed out that Zeke had more volume than Fournette despite their #'s being so identical. That is bad Rocy, depending on how you view Fournette. Because truth is Fournette is one of Zeke's closest comps in the league.

I know that it is very hard to defend Zeke using facts and stats, and there in lies the issue with some people thinking Zeke is wayyyyyyy better or valuable than he actually is.

Same for me, Wiki updates almost immediately. NFL, ESPN, and even DC.com site is way behind. DC.com seems months behind at times.
You would think as much money and if Jerry cared, he would hire someone that could keep it updated.
Today, the DC dot com site has an updated roster, which means they struck the waived/cut players off the list.
But, true to form, they can't get out of their own way:
They still list Poe and Crawford as Reserve PUP, and Erving's name is in a separate row from the Active Players.
He is sandwiched in between the Opt Outs. At least he has has a number listed.
DiNucci and Tevin Jones are still saddled with their original numbers.
What a joke.

Who plays the 2 starting safety positions for us?? Hear Clinton-Dix is looking really bad in training camp.

BS. On Zeke you are not logical at all. And I'm not even mad at you for it because is what it is. Its not hard to defend Zeke using stats....its hard to defend him when you guys dismiss every fact that's positive to him to the point I've given up. He's our running back. Either you like him or you don't. I'm not going to argue with you guys about why you like him or why you don't.

I have not heard that Clinton-Dix has looked bad, just that Thompson is looking better.

He's closer to average starter than he is the best, which some people have him pegged as. Logic is literally all I use when it comes to Zeke.

Trade for Ronnie Harrison. Jaguars are wanting to move him. Could be a great addition.
He was a heck of a player in College and has been improving every year so far. Heck of a hitter.
We could easily nab him

Flip the Jaguars Thompson and a 7th for Harrison.

This dude is a thumper. He lacks alittle coverage but our LBs can handle that.
Don't mess this up. This could be a very very nice pick up and not such a big deal if Woods leaves
