With ya on Garrison. I still remember his response to a reporter asking him after a home playoff loss (to the Vikings IIRC) why he fumbled inside the Vikes 5 yard line. His answer was on the lines of I was tired of carrying the ball and threw the damn thing down. That and Duane Thomas’ response to numbnuts Brookshire’s post-SB interview are classics.

Translation= Benard by all accounts was playing well and they cut him. So assuming that Dix was not playing well as a reason for getting cut may not be correct

Thanks for the clarification. I agree with you about Benard. He is destined for the PS if he clears waivers. Dix may be a veteran they protect on the PS but who knows? Maybe he just wasn't performing well and was just let go.
