These attitudes about mental health are why the suicide rate in our military will never go down, at least not unless the entire country suddenly becomes enlightened enough to understand this part of health care.
I dont know the statistics, but alot of suicide amoungst Iraq and Afghanistan vets are TBI related. When you are talking about a pro football player, brain trauma has to be considered. Even if they have been diagnosed with a concussion
 
What would you expect from a guy that tried to delve into the personal life of Aikman and insinuate his sexual preference?

By all means, don't have a professional athlete admit to a medical condition that has a stigma still attached to it that only worsens conditions people suffer.

And above all, don't admit freely to the real danger behind this pandemic for so many people.

Just the fact that he prefaced it with that lame remark shows what he was up to and he's always been a pathetic excuse for a journalist.
