My opinion is: the whole subject should not have been brought up on Undisputed at all.

Dak has a right to tell his story if he chooses as it is relevant to the compounding personal family tragedies he's endured, and amplified by the CoVid quarantine isolation aspects many have experienced.

He even acknowledges this as compared to other Americans' struggles despite his good personal fortune. It did not prevent him from having darker thoughts.

Skip just shows his *** here. In his world view, winning is everything if you wear a Silver helmet with a Navy Blue Star on it. Check all the baggage at the door, and deal with it.

The difference being the latter is unrealistic. Dak isn't the POTUS or 5 Star General in front of a strategic battle campaign map.

He's 27 (?) years old and has lost his brother who he was very close to. Just leave it alone please.

The sports media in this country at almost all levels is so click driven they think nothing of outrageous takes or writing endless opinion pieces so long as they are guaranteed reading.

There is zero journalistic standard, and it's poisoned everyone from simply enjoying pro-athletes skills and their contests without all semi-relevant back story and tangentially related social issues presented beforehand.

Because while they may have some thread of interest, the only value is to THEM, in this case Skip Bayless , Shannon Sharpe and Fox Sports.

Shouldn’t be surprised they brought it up on Undisputed. All these type shows are 80 percent drama, personal issues, and social issues......and just 20 percent sports. Unwatchable to most of us sports fan that stopped watching months ago

Social Lectures by Jemelle Hill and tearful apologies by guilt ridden Max Kellerman have killed these shows

The sad fact of the matter with this is that Skip Bayless, FOX Sports and that horrendous program got exactly what they wanted out of this - people are talking about Skip and what he said. That was their goal, and the public behaved as they expected.

Forget the content - this is precisely what shows like his and First Take are - hot take, outrageous BS by actors designed to piss people off and make them talk about them. I bet that not one of them actually believe 90% of the garbage that they spout - but, it gets a response. Every. Single. Time.

If people want this crap off their airwaves, there’s a very easy solution - don’t watch the show, don’t watch the videos. Without people watching or talking about this nonsense, the show would go away.

All that to say is that Skip Bayless showed himself to be what we already knew what he was - a phony, contrived, sanctimonious fool who performs a role on a TV show. There’s nothing of substance there.

Let’s discuss IQ....where did I call you a name? You want to be insensitive about people with depression but want to play victim....cry me a river.
So you want to use semantics as an excuse for using such adjectives. This behavior is a cognitive bias and a technique to promote propaganda to invoke fear in this they don’t agree with . You can cry now .
Really? How many people have you lost? How many of them gave a crap about you? Dak isn't leading an army into war, he's a friggin' twenty something quarterback.
you need a napkin , then you can go away

There is a lot of fake anger going on right now about this and people are using this as an opportunity to grandstand their opinion on the obvious.

Today’s society is nauseating.

Skip said something stupid and now we have to listen to everyone tell us how wrong he was and how much morally superior they are.

I said you made a stupid post. I did not once call you stupid. No need for me to call you stupid you are doing a good job of showing your IQ without me stating it. Nice attempt at playing victim though. I'd respect it more if you stood by your statements and didn't back peddle though.

Yeah that's what you are suppose to do when someone is foul. You hold them accountable and don't turn the other cheek. That's the society of old......letting someone say something reckless and don't hold them accountable for it. If you don't have the same anger as everyone else about this subject matter than maybe you need to look in the mirror?

Let's also be real.....the only people who really don't care are the ones who already dislike Dak anyway. Even though this issue isn't even about Dak technically...his name is in the headlines and guys like you will forever take your stance on Dak regardless of being on the wrong side of the argument.

your arguments are weak and lack substance. you seem to embrace mediocrity and a culture of overhype.

Still have the same idiotic attitude, eh? I guess it's easy to be like that when you've never had friends.

What arguments? What mediocrity? What hype? We're talking about a kid who lost his brother to suicide. What kind of story is playing out in your head?

now Herschel is a mans man. He isn't afraid to speak up and stand up. He's a better human being than he was a player. That is saying something.

Yeah based on some of the things he's said lately he needs to encourage others to check on their mental state. He's taken far too many hits to the head.
