lol, name them. Please, I'll wait. Someone helped you out and named Russell Wilson. That's one. Keep going.

I think a better argument is this. You have surrounded this guy with talent and what has he won? Out of the top paid quarterbacks in the league, there are several that have won a SB. They're are also several that have at least been to a SB (Jimmy G, Matt Ryan, Goff). Carson wentz who people like to point out. Wentz was going to be league MVP the year he got hurt. Lamar jackson won an MVP.

What has dak won in this league? To warrant giving him a franchise crippling 40 mil a year.

Nobody is saying we don't want dak, but at that money he needs to do more than drive the bus and put up elite stats vs bad teams.

Josh Allen beat the Jets. I know we lost to them last year, but I think that's a fluke. Point is, Jets are not very good.

Haskins' stats were bad against the Eagles. The defensive line won that one against a deeply injured Eagles offensive line. That win isn't that impressive. That Eagles offensive line will kill them the whole year. Good break for us tho the division is that bad.

I'll give you Russell Wilson. Nobody is arguing that Wilson has consistently outplayed Dak over his career. I do think the Falcons defense is terrible though, and most people can do a number on them in the passing game. Rams defense is significantly better, imo. We'll see next week.... because that game is coming right up.

It doesn't matter they were both under alot of pressure today (more than Dak was) and both found a way to win and both were able to put up more points than our guy. Our guy was under pressure and he gets to use that as an excuse. If Dak wants to be paid like Russell Wilson than let him win some games like Wilson Does when he is under the kind of pressure that Wilson was today. The fact that Allen or Haskins can find a way to win while being under the pressure they were under today and our guy can't should tell you alot.

The point is Dak is not elite in fact he is very average when he doesnt have a good OL a good running back a good recieving core and a good defense. He is a bus driver that needs elite talent around him to be successfull meaning he should be paid like a bus driver. The Elite guys like Mahomes, Rogers. Wilson, Brees, Brady, ect do more and therefore are worth more. Dak is very average.
Admit it, you can't name those guys who doesn't need those things. Mahomes, Brees, and Brady have had that or currently has that. Dak isn't asking for Mahomes, Rodgers, or Brees money. When he signs, it will take about 36M per to get it down with about 100M of that guaranteed. Jerry and Stephen will finally give him a four year deal. They made the mistake of not signing him in the last year of his deal. They made the mistake in signing Zeke to an extension early. Bottom line is we can win a SB with Dak but he can't do it alone. NO QB IN THE LEAGUE CAN. That is my point. It takes a team to go all the one, not one individual.

He didn't turn them down because of the money. It was the length of the contract. Jerry and Stephen have admitted as much. They are the reason the deal hasn't gotten done.

That is this year. Dak was offerred a Wentz and Goff Deal after his 3rd season and before the start of his 4th and turned that down

Again nobody is saying we don't want dak. Ryan Tannehil gets 30 mil a year to drive the bus. I think we could all accept that.

But if your paying him 40 mil a year that means your ability to sign talent around him shrinks.

If he can't win with the current level of talent, how is he going to win when we can't re sign our big name guys?

We dropped 4 passes, had a TD pass called back due to a penalty away from the play, declined to kick a FG to tie halfway through the 4th quarter, and a bad pass interference call late which cost us the game.

Dak wasn’t the problem.

There was the CeeDee grazing the back of a defender as he’s turning that was called a block in the back on the other big Gallup play as well.

I'll ask a better question, is it Dak's fault he hasn't won? Our "talent" that we've had all these years seems to ALWAYS underachieve. That was before Dak even got here. The Romo era had talented teams that never got it done. Why all of a sudden Dak is surrounded by all this talent and hasn't won? No one had a problem paying Romo a huge deal when he got his and hadn't won anything. The money at the position has increased.

Yall better stop listening to the pundits and media talking about how talented we are and start paying attention to what's happening on the field.

Definitely a problem with the offense. Still way too many long developing routes when the offensive line is getting taken to task. I thought MM would be an innovator and would make adjustments in game, but all he seemed to do was stand there motionless. He's a conman.
I didn't get to watch the game, but I'd say let's give a guy more than one game to fix a leak.

Actually, as much as I loved Romo as starter, I *****ed about the size of his contract, too

Id def argue romo had far less talent while he was here. He never had an elite run game. Hell i remember Rob Petiti starting at right tackle against the giants in a playoff game. Romo used to get killed in games, and still always came back somehow.

You know QBs are responsible to score points, Dak can't score points unless we are down by 21 and the defense is playing prevent.
Or if the running game is rolling and we are piling it on a weak team .
