That throw Dak made to CeeDee on the fateful 4th and 3 sucked. On a short crossing pattern you have to lead the receiver. Lamb had to stop in his tracks and bend down some which made the tackle a lot easier.

Dak wasn't rushed no excuse to not execute that simple throw

We said it many times , Dak is not accurate and gets happy feet and flustered In tense situations. Dak will be the costliest mistake if Jerry and Stephen pay him anything near what he is asking . The guy just simply does not have the talent to achieve wins . He can be a serviceable QB but he is not a difference maker . Cowboys need a difference maker to overcome deficiencies on defense and other areas .

He was 5th in PFF, 9th in QBR.
Again, you can blame a QB for every loss if you are brain dead.
Or you can fix the actual problems like the 3rd worst OL performance. The bottom 5 LB performance.
The TE dropping 2 balls.
The coach failing to tie the game when he could.

I'm not sure who needs to hear this but Dak was easily your highest graded Cowboy Sunday.
It is no more his fault the team lost than it is Zeke's.
The Defense allowed a zillion plays and the offense could not block at all.

It is scary because La'el is out a couple more games and they don't have a TE on the roster that can catch.
They might need to totally change the offense to just not play TE except for short yardage.
Defensively, LVE is down for the count possibly for ever and Jaylon looked basura at Will which makes sense given it is a movement/speed LB position.

This team has real problems and we are going to find out how good Mike McCartty is real quick with this early stretch.

What ? Dak missed so many open receivers and got flustered often . This was a very winnable game if we had an elite QB . He is simply a mediocre QB and most rank 11-16 in the NFL . With the defense issues the cowboys have , an elite QB is needed . Dak is nowhere near that . Plus he wants 40+ mil . Crazy ...

I don't believe there's any question but what Dak isn't the level of QB to demand $40 mil in his next contract.

I wouldn't blame our front office for being unwilling to give him that level of a 2021 price for his new contract.

Seems to me it would be pretty reasonable for them to settle for something around $35 million and no more.

No I am middle of the road and don't perpetuate lies. I am objective unlike a lot of Dak haters. I like Wilson better but I don't hate Dak. When he sucks I say he sucks, when he is good I say he is good. I don't say he is bad ALL the time which is sort of the ilk you seem to be.
