I think he got benched for a few series in the first half after his fumble. Good to see he did the most with his second chance.

The only reason people really thought we had no TE's on this team because that selfish loser Witten would never allow anyone behind him get a fair look. And now look. Good riddance to him. He was as bad as Garrett.

yeah hate on one of the few bright spots in a long time around here. Witten deserved the time that he got because he is the best Tight End in our franchise's history. It's up to the coach to decide who gets a look or not, not the TE.

Did he? I always figured that our TE was going to be getting *extremely* easy looks from a defense a zillion times more concerned about Zeke, Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb.

Going into the season, I figured teams would prefer to just take their chances with Jarwin. Going into this game, that was doubly and triply so for Schultz.

While your statement is true, it's disingenuous. The clapper was never going to give starting time to others over witten. Jarwin should have been the starter last year.

He’s not as athletic as Jarwin but he’s developing nicely

This kid was asked to step up today and IMO he answered the bell, big-time. Played with a lot of confident. In fact, since we already know he's a good blocker, don't be surprised we're seeing our future TE for the next 5+ years.

Great game but he’s just getting volume and being where he is supposed to be.

He’s doing a good job doing his job. Nothing more.

Schultz was an unsung hero .... aside from the fumble of ATL LB No. 54 (who was punching out football in several players arms)

roll out and waggle catches .. underneath catches ...no drops and no nutty routes.. a much more settled game in pass game

take advantage of the clear outs, when needed ....
