I don't even think we would of won that game with Romo, but do I love making unrealistic Dak fans squirm by agreeing with OP. Absolutely. I don't hate Dak at all. I hate him at 40 million a year and I think that's what he wants and is going to get. If we sign him to a very team friendly deal this off-season I will change my tune and be thankful we have a top 15 QB on a good deal and I'll probably start defending him in certain arguments. If he gets Patrick Mahomes money. I will call him out for every incompletion he throws. (especially those 2 yard ones that he air mails over tight ends that are wide open ) You want top money, you better be a lot better then Dak has been. Argue that with me all day, you will never change my stance on it.

Let me say I don't know what an "unrealistic Dak fan is" I would agree about the 40 million but then I don't think there is any QB worth 40 mill. Dak never even asked for what Mahomes got and based on recent deal with Watson in Houston I think Dak will see a deal very much like that because it is the rate at which QB are paid.

It wasn't Dak. Put the blame on the boy wonder and his stupid play calling at the end. Attack down field what are those screens and short crap.

Let me just ask you this and I'm being honest as I haven't googled or searched for this at all. Off the top of your head, when was the last time a team paid a QB top of the line money and went on to win a SB because of it? Now after that is answered, when is the last time a team that went far into the playoffs paid there QB top end money and fell off the face of the earth? I will answer the last one for you if needed. The scary thing about that last question is the QB we just played, who is arguably one of the best in the league is one of them...scary. If Russel Wilsons team falls apart after he gets paid...what's gonna happen to Dak Prescott's teams? Woof.

I know what the going rate is for QB in the NFL. It is more than I think it should be but it is what it is. I have also seen this franchise go through years of trying to find a QB, it is not as easy as some here love to think. I think Prescott is capable of helping this team achieve their goals. As for Wilson he was just paid last season. I would also add the big reason for the hold up on Dak was simple, they wanted a 4 year deal instead of a 5 and why? Because the NFL TV contracts are up and a new deal with be put in place with a price tag that is double what the NFL is getting from the networks now. So all this salary cap talk is non sense for the future of the NFL

Dude the majority of the criticism of Dak on this board isn’t about his throwing motion while in stride or the placement of his hips relative to his target.

It is frenetic, frantic, deranged and emotionally unstable tantrums one would expect from a four year old still wearing diapeys. These people are irrationally unhinged, miserable “fans” and they are the best entertainment in the world lol.

Alright. I do think some people get lumped in there unfairly.

I guess Tony Romo never threw game ending interceptions. We know that not true. Tony ended many games with a horrible interception.

Well Tony did in 2014. Granted he had a superior OL but he beat the Legion of Boom in their own back yard when they had previously lost 1/20 at home from memory. The clutch throw on third and forever to TWill always comes to mind.

14 points were gifted to the Seahawks as well by our special teams unit - blocked punt and muffed fair catch.

But that's history.

Have we forgotten the botched hold for a game winning FG?

Have we forgotten the game Romo nearly got himself killed?

No we don't know it's true. The only thing we do know is that you're a freakin TROLL.
Dak is what he is.
He's not what I would hope for in a quarterback, but he's not bad. I really was impressed with his play on Sunday, but his tendency to let the game overtake him showed up once again. He throws erratically when he gets flustered.
I don't necessarily blame him for the last interception, but he had time for one or two more plays if he threw the ball away.
He got disoriented when he had to struggle out of the pocket and made a hasty decision.
Dak's level is about "8" out of 10. He plays at that level most of the game, and that's pretty good. But when he gets flustered, he's about a "4" or "5". Those are bad times.
When he needs to be "10", it just isn't there.
That's when he looks amateur.
He's very good for the parts of the game when "8" is good enough. He'll never be a "10", though. And that's what it takes to be on Russell Wilson's level, or any other top quarterback.

possibly. I’m all about good threads breaking down football details. I like to learn and there are some smart mofo’s on here that know more about football than I could ever hope to know. THEY get drowned out by all the incessant, unreasonable, and incoherent whining/noise.

He can get there. He’s not a finished product.

That was a great throw and an insane catch and toe drag by Twill. Just wow...
