Twitter: Zeke might be sued over "Feed Me" trademark

Some of you need to put some respect by Rybacks name! One time Intercontinental Champion and contender for the WWE championship belt. He’s got “Feed Me More” right there on his spandex and those of you who watched wrestling would know Ryback was doing “feed me” way before the imposter zeke. Should have known zeke couldn’t come up with something original and disappointed in myself for not remembering that Ryback was doing this a decade ago.

Per Wiki...The Ryback character has been described as "Goldberg meets The Ultimate Warrior meets Rob Van Dam's tights".

Yeah, so I think we’re about the same age. I’m talking I was between 16-18 when I went there a few times with other buddies of mine from military school (everyone from our school went there) and this was from about ‘95-97. The Federalis and local police weren’t getting along, the border was shut down quite a bit...I’m guessing not much has changed.

For an ambitious 17 year old looking for excitement, equestrian shows and cheap alcohol it was great. Looking back on it, like several other things I did, I was dumb as hell and lucky I survived. I’m not even talking about the violence, it was putting myself in bad situations. I can’t believe how dumb and lucky we were, especially the females that came with us.

Yeah I wouldn't miss that dumb looking feed me thing, but people are so sickenly sue happy these days. If they think they can get something for free, they'll go for it. I swear some people would take dog poop if it was free.

I would say if the guy actually filed a copyright on that phrase and the copyright office accepted it..

I would say he is a crafty dude.

Becuz that is no easy process to go thru. It takes time and goodly amounts of paperwork back and forth to secure it.

I believe you have to legal proclaim in a newspaper or journal of your intent to copyright something and that means money out of pocket and that can be expensive? etc.

If he does own it then Zeke either pays to transfer ownership or he can purchase usage of the term and ownership reverts back to the wrestler but Zeke can use it only in a specific way.

Like with how is using it.

I don't see a problem or he can do something else instead of "feed me". Create a new move. Patent it and move on.

It's sort of like a domain name for websites. I had a company once and the domain service. The time came to renew it and I was busy and a couple of months later I tried to renew it and somebody had bought it and wanted $10000 for it to sell it to me.

I laughed at first and thought he was joking. He wasn't. So I tweaked my company name and reserved it and moved on.

Poor Zeke.

You can trademark just about anything these days. The phrase "let's get ready to rumble" is considered a trademark.

In order to have a Trademark fully in effect, someone has to prove that it originated from him (or her). If there is proof that showed that someone else using it before the trademark occurred than it is void.

I actually have to check on that, I’m not positive it is. I didn’t know this until a couple weeks ago but a guy I work with is a gamer, he’s a big PC guy and loves this game. I just don’t know if he also has a PS4.

Not necessarily. It depends when the Trademark is filled. If there are clips out there that showed Zeke doing the "feed me" action before the trademark was granted, then that renders it void.

That sucks about your domain name expired and some squatter bought it from you. It happens all the time and these people are making a lot of money reselling expired domains.
