Andy could be the sensible solution next year . Dak is a good QB but with the issues the defense answer OL has , cowboys have to tell him to either take 25 mil max or move on . Same for many overpaid players . Cowboys don’t have the cap space to pay Dak ans still fix the team .

Wait this threads a real thing? If anyone’s biggest concern isn’t the defense ( all of it) and on offense the OLine I guess, but I’d hope you’d be able to win scoring as much as they did today.... geez

If someone is willing to give an individual any amount of money then they believe that individual is worth it. Besides it's not YOUR MONEY neither mine.
We're fans. The amount the salary counts toward the salary cap is ours. So, yes, it is ours.

Dalton would not have fumbled on that blindside strip sack and all would be well in the universe.
Nah, Andy Dalton was only one of the worst turnover machines in the whole NFL last year with the Bengals.

Try again.

Whether it was a confused Cooper, or Dak throwing into coverage......I'd like to see Dalton play. I don't care what numbers Dak has.......W's matter.

Can they also actually play 4 quarters of football instead of only the 4th?

The Cleveland running game looked impressive. Dallas defense concerns isn't only the secondary after that performance.

This team is messier than a soup sandwhich.
Our defense gave up 49 points on a day where Dak threw for 500 yards and you think the answer to our problems is to start Dalton? If stupid could fly, you’d be a jet.

Let me ask you this. What is the right price for Dak to sign for you to stop blaming him? If we sign him for $20 million and we still lose is it still his fault if he only scores 46 instead of 50?

He's not signing for any 20mil and he's the only commodity on the team worth picks. We've already overpaid all the other players worth something. Most of this current team is highly overrated.

Isn't not overpaying a QB to allow some for a defense.....a concern? That's my biggest concern.

Who's salary are you paying? Maybe you are a part of negotiations, don't waste my time.

Said it last week, we are back to being the 2012-2013 Cowboys. Defense is poor and the QB is expected to play near perfect football throwing the ball all over the yard in order to keep the games competitive.

Dalton needs to stop his family members from posting here while intoxicated.

Pay Dalton, draft a rookie. Throw all the remaining cash for defense.

Pretty much, unfortunately.

Not that he’s the magic pill bc if he was he’d be employed, but need to sign Earl Thomas hope Gregory adds a boost and that the current players show a pulse.

Only thing they can do this season to try and fix this mess

Fans that buy jerseys, attend games, buy concessions, are helping to pay for the players. Otherwise that would all be free.

Indeed the best solution. Jerry and Stephen have to make some key trades and acquire some defensive and OL weapons to fix this .

Even in this deep gloom, a miasma of anger and hurt, I cannot blame Dak and the O.
It was all defence.
And all we got at the end was an amused and bemused Mayfield and a seemingly inebriated and tossled-haired Pam Oliver. Someone please kill me with a butter knife.
