Yeah you are right. Fans have no right to complain. It’s America so complaining should be outlawed. Also it’s only been 25 years. Jerry will eventually get it all figured out. You are right.
complaining is not suggesting you have all the answers and coaches dont get it but you do...lmao thats hilarious..:lmao2:

why not give the kids some snaps...Gallimore over Poe...Anae over Griffen...Bernard at OLB...Reggie Robinson at CB or S.
at this point...what the hell do we have to lose.

If you can’t get sarcasm I feel sorry for you. No one on this forum believes they can coach in the NFL tomorrow. This is an opinion forum for fans. That clear enough for you Einstein?

I do worry about your nose bleeds from the ivory tower.

gets tiresome reading all the i have the solution and the coaches are all dumb narrative..not sarcasm calling for coaches heads and accusing coaches and players of being dumb or worse..

Dlaw has right to be upset because the fans accusing him of getting paid and quitting and that not true at all yet here they are all over SM calling the guy out..

The only way to fix this defense is to, somehow, bring back Randy White, Harvey Martin, Jethro Pugh and Too Tall Jones in their prime.

We are going very basic 4-2-5 this week. Very basic. If I blitz it is coming from the CB or S position. Gallimore and Hill start in the inside. I know Gallimore is not a 1 but it doesn’t matter because Poe and Woods are not doing the job. Gregory and Smith are starting on the outside. Anae gets next up snaps. Lawrence gets 33% of the snaps unless he shows a pulse. I am scouring the LBs in the league. Thomas and Gifford are my starters. Smith is a healthy scratch. I don’t care if I have to put Wilson at LB Smith is not suiting up. Diggs, Brown, Carr, Wilson, and Lewis are my starting secondary. Woods is deep, deep, deep on the bench. Griffen will work at the 3 on some passing downs. Worley and Crawford get a few snaps as well. I run base 85pct of the plays. I force Jones to stay in the pocket and be accurate. I pray Smith and Gregory can get home.

Simple, simple, simple.

54 is a permanent healthy scratch if the LBs show a pulse and I am looking every week for guys that can help.

Thoughts?
Is Gregory eligible to play?

- i thought it was ridiculous to come into the season so LB thin... with both LVE/Sean hurt there is no suitable backups, not even one decent enough
to bench Jaylon ..Joe thomas would have to take over the complex signals - but reality is these already confused mishandling DC is not gonna bench
Jaylon, they will put up with his mishap game until revaluation at season's end.

- I'm not starting Gallimore but he begins to get some of Crawford's rotational snaps and reps,
i don't get Tomsula having Poe in on these long passing downs, ..he cannot even get off the line. Crawford continues to get knock all over the field
and this is the $9 million dollar man. ..Utterly Stupid !!

- I'd be forced to start Antwann Woods to start at 1 tech with Gallimore seeing spot time at both 3 tech and 1 tech. Woods wears down fast if he
has to start and he's not truly a rugged run stuffer.
Gally is more of a pass rusher than run stopper but it's time to add others than continue to see Crawford rocked left & right.

- We need to go on the street for an immediate vet FA at 1 tech.. and then cut Poe. He's cooked.-He's a liability now and he just doesn't
have anything left in him.

- i'm also getting Bradlee Anae more into Armstrong's reps

3 tech - Hill
1 tech - Woods (until we find better)
LDE - Dlaw
RDE - Aldon Smith

backup RDE - Griffin
backups at both 3 tech/1 tech - Neville Gallimore/Crawford
backup LDE - Bradlee Anae/ Armstrong

Since Dlaw is playing and gutting it out with a sore knee that apparently limited his snaps, i'm just backing off any
criticism until it's known that he is getting healthier.. we have no idea how much discomfort he is going thru.

We heard the same about Schultz until injuries forced them to play him. I don't know that Gallimore will be good or not, but I do not trust the coaches have the pulse of anything when playing time decisions are made.
Gallimore played games 1 and 2.

Getting upfield as a DL causes huge gaps for traps.....besides tell me how a 3-4 works with no real OLB's and no real DT's to eat lineman.....this was a horrible idea then throw in no training camp...MM should have to explain *** they were thinking here.

we dont have he personell to run a 3-4 not even close

The 3-4 squeezes 3 DL into the space where there are 2 DL in a 4-3...

Schultz is a third year player who was terrible last year. He is exactly the argument for letting Gallimore develop on the normal timeline - just like Trysten Hill did this year. Hill has been our best DT and 90% of the posters here wanted to cut him after his rookie season.

Hill is the worst ranked DT in the NFL according to PFF

He is hurting them on the field. Shouldn’t he sit?

I have no clue how to fix an NFL defense but I do know that Gregory can’t play yet for another 3 or 4 weeks.

no but deal with my responses or ignore those, this place needs balance because it feels liek a dang Eagles fan site and the hate this team gets nearly zero support ..i get the frustration post games but this goes to another level with the negativity..

voice of reason and common sense are very needed..

On running plays Hill is getting blown off the line.
