I can't imagine this team really wants to be rid of Brandon Carr.. who is both a solid player and a solid citizen. This move must be an attempt to exploit the special roster rules for this year. I think he will be back on the practice squad tomorrow.

If true then count me with Carr in this fight. I would have a hard time standing on the sidelines watching our defense play as bad as it has and having coaches telling me I couldn't do any better.

I have some 'words' to describe them too. I don't blame Carr, he's been a class act everywhere he's been, there's clearly a whole lot of wrong going on with the Cowboys defense.
Including me being completely wrong about Nolan and what I thought the defense could do.

Exactly, two of the PS spots are basically the 54th and 55th roster spot with the current rules.
They clearly had a handshake deal in place with Carr for this kind of move, but that said I was wrong about Carr and thought he would be the starting FS by now.

His "scoop".
However, while the personnel department liked Carr - it believed in his second go-around with the Cowboys he could help at corner and at safety - he and the coaching staff did not particularly mesh. (There were unkind words exchanged; let's put it that way.)

Yeah you know they don't like when players bark back at their incompetence. Hopefully Carr goes to a much better situation. Maybe Chiefs will have him back.
