I am still perplexed why they don't bring in a DT

Losing Hill was a big blow. Now they are rolling with Crawford, who isn't all that good and Gallimore, who is raw.

I'd call Dareus and see if he wants to come in and try out. Sure, he's not a 3T but at this point, we need bodies at DT. Poe is dreadful as well so I might even consider bringing Snacks in and if he shows anything, cut Poe.

Given that he is on Seattle's practice squad, can they just "bring Snacks in"?

I could be wrong but they can if Seattle doesn't protect him before the next game. The Bucs tried to get him a day after he was added to Seattle's practice squad, but he turned them down. I think if Dallas came calling he'd likely make the move.

But just reading now it appears he might be added to the Seahawks active roster very soon which makes this moot, I guess.

They may poach someone off someone's team but I wouldn't look for them to sign a veteran. I don't know why the are taking this approach. Only thing I can think of is that maybe its cap related.....I just don't get if you have money why not spend it I get not locking guys up long term but on a one year deal I don't understand.

Ok. Timeout. What am I missing on Trysten Hill? Why is he this OMG what a big blow loss? The dude is very much a part of a terrible defensive line. He's got no sacks, 1 tackle for loss and he's an awful run defender. Yet everyone's in mourning that he's gone down.

I would gut the entire group as much as I could at this point. None of the veterans are worth keeping, so I'd shuffle the deck and maybe find an upgrade, or at least players who want to be out there.

I'm no expert, but I feel like us giving up like 10 yds a carry had something to do with the DL.

I'm thinking Hill had a lot to do with it.
