No way jerry wrote that or even said it.
no jerry speak at all in that, it was a statement written by someone else and jerry ok'd it and released it.
IMO jerry was sold on dak, but dak would not sign the 5 year deal.Jerry hands out bad contracts like they’re candy yet he didn’t do it for Dak. I think you’re right that he’s not sold.
Just words.....
I see idiocy still abounds.Think we all have heard this same song and dance before when Romo got hurt...what else is Jerry gonna say? ....Face it man....Dak is done. Wouldn't shock me to see him slip into a deep depression...and never be the same. It's a bad break for sure.
Don’t bother. Same guy said Kellen Moore would take the starting job from Romo lolHonestly that is just the stupidest post. Dak is not a running threat. What have you been smoking.
If he has a similar injury to Gordon Hayward and Hayward can come back and play basketball then Dak can definitely come back to the level he was playing at with it.
But Jerry said the same thing....and then everyone was shocked he was retiring. Wouldn't shock me if this turns out to be the same case.
I don't see Dak playing if he can't run. He's only dangerous if he can run....he's just not accurate enough to be a straight drop back QB.
Perfectly said, Jerry had always shown great care for his players and their families. He may have a lot of warts, but not caring isn't one of them.there is one thing Jerry is and thats a empathetic caring owner for his players and all employees. Anybody that thinks JJ needs a press agent to write his thoughts aint paying attention.
Ummm...actually it's the opposite. Dak was the one that wanted the shorter deal because of the new NFL deal coming up and would allow him to come back to the table. Dallas and Jerry wanted the longer deal.Dalton was never going to take Dak's job this year. I think we all knew that it would take an injury for Dak to leave the game.
However, Jones is obviously not sold on Dak long-term, at least not at this price Dak wanted. Otherwise, Dak would've been signed long-term.
Here's the point I'm trying to make. There's a bigger difference between 4 years a 1 year than 4 years and 5 years. If they really wanted him and were willing to pay his price I see no reason they wouldn't give up on that 1 single years to keep him here long-term. I think it was more likely they saw they Dak's camp wasn't moving from the 4 years. Once they saw that, they could stick to 5 and give them an out by saying to the fans "Hey, we tried. He didn't want to be here." Just my opinion.Ummm...actually it's the opposite. Oh ok. I definitely think Dak's agent is in over his head with this deal. My opinion. Here's the point I'm trying to make. He was. That's why he got fired lol.Oh ok. I definitely think Dak's agent is in over his head with this deal. My opinion.
Disagree part A. Agree part B.I've always like and supported Jerry, but somehow I think he's got that evil grin going on right now.
Stats in similar points of their careers don't back up your claims that Dak is better. They had the same similar stats hence why I said Dalton, Dak, Smith, Cousins are all the same dang QB.The signing of Dalton pays off here. Make no mistake, Dak is the better of the two quarterbacks. There was never a plan to use Dalton to get rid of Dak. That idea is a fantasy that some fans dreamed up. Dalton was signed so that we would have a high quality backup in the event that Dak went down with injury. That has now happened, and Dalton will do fine in that role. But he's not this team's long-term plan for starting quarterback. If Dak rehabs well and then he and the team agree to terms, he'll be back. If not, this team is drafting a quarterback in the first round. They may sign Dalton for another year as a stop-gap.
If this team can find some defense, we have a quarterback in Dalton that we can win games with. If not, we're probably going to have a high draft pick, one which we should use on a quarterback. We may see Dak back next year, we may not. If he can rehab this thing well, I believe the team wants him back.
Oh...didn't know he got firedHe was. That's why he got fired lol.
