This wasn't created to dis Dak, because he was ballin' and threading the needle.

This thread is to say, we're about to witness why people have been calling Moore "Boy Genius."

Can you show me Dak "threading the needle".

I'm not saying he's garbage. Okay? Get that right straight. I just want to see the eye of the needle being threaded as you say.

LMAO.. So the offense is going to go from #1 to ?.........

You people are amazing.. It's really going to be fun watching yall contort yourselves if the offense STOPS scoring 33 ppg and 488 yards a game with Dalton at the helm. That's where the bar is set.. If it doesn't hit those marks with Dalton can we all agree that the offense will not be as good? I'm not holding my breath for it to happen nor for idiots who hate Dak to fess up when it doesn't. But I will be laughing at yall. Count on it. Make no mistake.. I want the Cowboys to win.. and I don't really care what kind of numbers Dalton puts up if they do. If yall are too caught in your feelings to admit that no matter what Dalton does this team will continue to look like crap if the defense doesn't step up maybe therapy can help yall.

What good is being #1 on offense if you lose? I don't care what they score, or how they score, just want them to win. I am behind Dalton now just like I was Dak. I will, however, still call it like I see it. If the offense continues to put the ball on the ground 2-3 times a game they will still have it coming.

It’s exciting!!!

To me it’s clear overpaying Dak results in the same outcome as finishing this seasons with Dalton...

7 - 8 wins.

However, Dalton + spreading the money around >>>> Overpaying Dak and neglecting all other positions...

You don’t pay one average player 20% of the cap, period..

I always wondered what our offense could do with a "normal" QB. Dak is good but he was always a weird QB of a situation.

No matter how good he got, he was never that complete QB that you needed when it counted.

The word normal is doing a lot of work here.

What exactly can the offense do to be better than it was, that's reflective of KM? He has nothing to do with fumbles, and that's really been the offense's only problem.
Score earlier to set a tone and to keep the ball away from the opposing O. We just give it right back to them, 21-0, no fault is given to the Offense, because they will go on to make up the yardage later in the game, etc. Hey you can't be mad at 500 yards, etc.. But they were a part of going down 3 scores too.

That's going back to the Garrett days though. Sometimes it feels like it takes until the 4th quarter for this to resemble a real offense.

What code is "weird QB of a Situation"?

The other part of your statement is not factual at all considering Prescott has more 4th QTR comebacks than any other 2016 drafted QB, and 15 game winning drives.

Sorry Mr.Charlie.

Dak has almost killed CeeDee a few times already this season so your statement that Dak throws behind on purpose doesn't hold true. Dak misses more easy throws in a game then I've ever seen. It's the difficult throws he is good at, but when a tight end or RB is in the flat all by himself it's sometimes comical how bad he is. You can't convince me that it doesn't happen when he is going across the middle to wideouts as well. On the #1 offense thing...do you know who had the 3rd best offense last year? I'll give you a hint. There QB had the most passing yards and 2nd most TDS in the entire league last season. He is now a back up in New Orleans. #1 offense means nothing when you have to air it out all game long because you are behind all the time. Dak is a good QB but he isn't a elite QB. That's why I don't think the QB drop off is gonna be as big as people think. Don't get me wrong, I think Dak is a better all around QB then Dalton. I just believe there are things that Dalton will be better at then Dak, and most of those things will have to do with his ability to throw.

What part of math you don't understand that 68% completion (2020 Dak Prescott) is very high for a QB. Troy Aikman retired with 61% completion. Romo retired with 65%. Roger Staubach retired as the all the leading passer with 57%. Dak Prescott career completion is 66%.

You guys are comical. Troy Aikman got Michael Irvin a career ending injury leading him into crash. But I did not hear anyone saying Troy left Michael out to dry.

You guys are comical.

Sadly, whether it does or doesn't some will be on here ready to gloat about it.

If Dalton fails to produce Dak numbers, then the vocal pro-Dak crowd will be sure to let everyone know about it. And if he does, the vocal anti-Dak crowd will rub it into the ground.

Meanwhile, the rest of us (who hopefully are the majority) will just be happy if we win and understand that it's a team game.

Some interceptions have been a problem, too, but that's more reflective of our poor defense not being able to give the QB any slack to make mistakes. Been that way for a while now. I'm not sure I know of a starting quarterback who went a whole season without an interception. In fact, I'm not sure I know of any who just had one.

That's actually way accurate.

Whoever tries to discredit Dak by using Jameis must forget he was the consensus number pick, heisman winner, national champion etc and jettisoned for Tom Brady. He’s obviously not nearly as good as was hoped, but it’s not for lack of talent.
Disagree. Reading a D and producing under pressure are part of being talented.

I don’t see how this offense gets better with Dalton. I think people are going to be in a rude awakening and will have a new found respect for Dak. I’m hoping they play more ball control and pound the rock keeping the defense off the field. They get behind Dalton will start turning the ball over.

I'm pretty sure that is just an expression. Not to be taken literally.

Um.....no my kind sir. Not gonna cut slack on that. "threading the needle" is a very specific expression. If one is going to say that....then it should be taken at high value. "literally"...would mean I need shown Dak is gonna do some sewing. "Figuratively"...I need shown what is meant by "threading needles". I think that is fair. You don't ....that's fine.

For the record///let it be known (can't believe I HAVE to say this...but such is the state of the 'zone...where people argue stuff you never said)...no I do not think Dak is garbage nor have I EVER called for his head.
