The game was only close because the defense finally got some turnovers, played fairly well and Wentz sucked.

We scored 9 points. That's it. The offense didn't keep the game close. LOL.
I’d agree Wentz 4 turnovers kept it interesting. Egirls aren’t a good team and Wentz appears to be regressing. If we had any kind of NFL caliber QB we’d of won.

Only if you thought we could have won the game.

We couldn’t have lined straight up all night. The fact they had to defense they threat of trickery opened what little not al offense we had.

Calling out one bad play that didn’t work is lame instead of focusing on the creative plan otherwise.

I really didn't think we could win but at that point, we were up 2, had run the ball right down the field on them and he calls a bad trick play that hadn't fooled Philly all night that cost us the drive.

And that wasn't the only bad play call. The 4th and 2 play call was also horrendous. They went 4 WRs and every WR ran a deeper route. No rub route, no roll out, no quick crossing. Moore was not great tonight.

On that opening 3rd down drive, we did:

- Elliott for 9
- Elliott for 6
- Elliott for 8
- Pollard for 7
- Pollard for 3
- Pollard for 9
- Elliott for 2
- Reverse for -10

Stupid play call in that situation.

sure buddy. What should he have called?

and you expected what from the offense? The same one that has scored 13 points in last two games?

I dont think we were capable of scoring a TD with Nooch.

This is the type game we should be looking at what made this game interesting . Which the creative game plan was ingenious I thought. The turnovers by Wentz of course we mentioned.

And so did everyone I was watching with. The social media was a buzz over much like the broadcasters. Nick picking a couple questionable calls doesn’t represent the overall effort IMO. And after watching the local broadcast sports after the game , they agree. We’ll see how it’s written tomorrow.

But mostly we don’t have much chance with Nooch.

It was obvious that the young quarterback has limited physical ability as a NFL quarterback. That being said it limits the things a team can do on offense. Kind of makes us appreciate NFL quarterbacks that able to execute the entire play book.

That was probably a great spot to finally run some play action. Maybe hit the TE over the middle, maybe try to run a post or a back shoulder to Gallup or Lamb.

DiNucci was terrible but play action seems like a much better and higher percentage play than a reverse to a WR who is then looking to throw the ball (and we had tried the same player earlier and Philly wasn't fooled at all).

It was just a peculiar/bad play call in that situation. And it cost us.

4th and 1 and instead of going to their $90 million #1 joke rb in the nfl they have to resort to a qb sneak from a rookie 7th round qb. Lol

lol....we never had them on their heels and we were never running it down their throats.

that was about the worst qb performance I have ever seen. Despite them not letting him throw downfield. DiNucci isn’t even nfl material. Cut him tmrw.
I've never, ever witnessed worse QB play in my existence.

Jesus. Just wow.

Maybe, maybe not. But I suspect you had a better shot of scoring a TD running and working play action than running a reverse that Philly had sniffed out easily TWICE before in the game.

Collinsworth in the third quarter commented, “that’s the first real completion DiNucci has had tonight”. He’s right. It was a bunch of trick plays and hitch routes, that was the plan. Not a single go route, post route, slant pass, nothing.

Yeah, he’s a 7th round pick from James Madison with no preseason. But we know he has the arm to make all the throws, let him take a few shots..

I have a love/hate relationship with Moore. I do think he’s innovative and smart. But more often than not he seems to outsmart himself.

Wind was a huge factor tonight...don't think people realize how bad it really was....your not gonna complete bombs down the field when the wind is gusting like that. Too unpredictable.

and when that didn’t work you going to blame Moore again?

what did it cost us? We weren’t ever winning this game. 4 turnovers and we get 9 point. Lol

Elliott is another story, but frankly I don't trust Williams and Biadasz at this point to hand off the ball deep to Elliott. I had visions in my head of 4th and 1, we hand it to Elliott and the Eagles DTs meet him at the mesh point.

No. In that situation, it's all on DiNucci. If he can't make a play action pass, that's on him.

When you call a dumb reverse that didn't even work the first time you tried to run it earlier in the game, that's on the OC.

I think that was gonna be a pass....Wilson probably did the right thing...just eating it when Steele missed his block on Fletcher Cox.

it was 4th and two chain links.....not one yard.

the only play there is the sneak. Biadaz got blownup and dinucci just dove into his back with his head down. It was terrible all around.

Another reason why running a reverse WR pass is a dumb play. It's unlikely Wilson can even make a good pass in those conditions.
