I agree, i would take Burrow over Dalton every day. And yes Dalton had an atrocious year in 2019. Judging him solely on a poor season is a mistake. With a rookie head coach, an oline possibly worse than the Cowboys this season, no AJ Green, no John Ross after week 4, no Jonah Williams, and no Tee Higgins Burrow has a much better situation than Dalton had a year a go.

As mentioned earlier in this thread Andy is an average QB at best, and if not surrounded by great players will play well below average. He is not the guy to carry a team on his back. he is a bus driver. Dak is a far superior player, however if you cant improve the rest of your roster the QB debate is a moot point. It really just depends on if we want to win 5 games without Dak, or 8 games with him.
I've seen Dak win more than 8 games with Jason Garrett. I would like to think with McCarthy and an actual offseason he would improve on the 8 games they won last year.

And I'm not just judging him for last year he's been average to below average before last year. It wasn't just a one year situation where he was bad. He's been a poor man's Tony Romo.

It kills me you guys make more excuses for Dalton but will not give Dak the same benefit.

I have a couple of questions for the "garbage time" arguers.. When does "garbage time" actually start? Is it the 4th quarter? Is it the 3rd quarter.. Is it the instant you are down more than two scores? And does it stop being garbage time the instant you are back to within one score? Inquiring minds want to know..

I suppose that makes sense... if you count everything that happens after the kickoff as garbage time. ;)

Where in the world are you getting that Dak is demanding a 10 year, $450 million dollar deal? Dak didn't even want a 5 year deal, and there is no evidence he was asking for anything in the ballpark of $45 million/year. I don't know there was even evidence he was asking for $35 million a year. The reports were mostly something in the range of Wentz and Goff, or maybe slightly higher.

You're making things up as you go.
Not Mahome's contract. My bad. I meant Dak is asking for 40 million a year. And you should know by now I don't make things up.

Hey. Is Mr. “there will be no drop off with Dalton” still going around and pretending like he has a genius mind when it comes to QB’s in the NFL?

Just curious

Catch is a joke when evaluating talent always has been.

They’re too dumb to be able to answer your question.

I’m sure the Dak haters are praising Jerry for this, because he is obviously a football genius and knows how to build a championship team!

If Dak were to leave which is highly doubtful, to me it would be more likely for him to end up in a place like Denver.

They have a decent defense, Sutton, Jeudy, Fant, and Hamler. Not a bad core group.

edit. Meant to add that the OTs have really struggled early in games and gotten a bit better as the game went along. They are a big part of the slow starts as well.

They have a good young QB out there. The problem is their Oline.

Jerry just spoke on 105 the fan and basically stated that offense struggled even when Dak was starting and they only moved the ball more because teams defense allowed them to.

This owner will die without another ring. Dak & Will McClay to Atlanta is 99% guaranteed.

I think Dak in Atlanta is a good guess. he is from that area of the country and i am sure popular still. And Ryan is on his way out soon. Atlanta will not have the draft position for one of the top 3 QBs in the draft. They could want to take a chance on Dak. Indy may as well be a better option and quicker to win....Rivers is on his last tank of gas.

How do you know he requested that number in particular?
