It depends how you view Cooper. Cooper wasn't a #1 in Oakland..he actually was one of the worst starters in the league when they got him.......

And when he paired up with Dak he looked miles better. But Dak doesn’t elevate people lol

Dak is a huge difference maker and we need him back. Our offense has collapsed without him.

Honestly. A lot of the hate Dak gets is due to the fact he replaced Romo. Also a lot doesn’t have to do with football. There are people here who have openly admitted they wouldn’t like him even if he won a SB MVP and a Lombardi.
Same people say losses are on Dak but wins are a team achievement lol it’s comical how many times the goal posts have moved regarding daks performance over the years. Now it’s come to. Yeah he’s putting up record numbers but he’s not winning. Lol

I just got back from band practice, and one of my friends says that he has a signature of Dak on his picture. Our drummer when he was in TX.

He wants to sell it to me? Should I buy it? I got money...

This might be an opportunity to invest on this? I might make some money. What you Cowboy fans think about that? I asked him how much he wanted for it? He not sure, but he wants to sell it to me because I'm a Cowboy fan. It looked pretty.

It recently occurred to me that there was something about the way Dak talks that sounds.. I don't know what the word is.. at least I didn't until it came to me a few days ago. I call it "speech voice." Everything he says sounds like a politician on the stump or an officer about to send his men into battle. The delivery, the inflection, all of it. I'm not assigning a negative or a positive value to it.. but it's just an observation I have made and I was finally able to put my finger on it literally within the last week. It's probably why guys gravitate to him.. 200 years ago Dak would have been the guy leading the charge into battle somewhere.. And probably would have been one of the first to get kilt! Okay.. that was morbid. I love Dak and have every confidence that he's going to make it all the way back and pick up where he left off this season. They say that one of the keys to slowing down the passage of time is having something to look forward to. As kids it's Christmas or summer break.. As young adults it's the next date with the girl (or guy) of our dreams at that moment.. As athletes it's game day.. and as fans.. it's the next game.. or in a season like this one.. the next season.. The 2020 season can't get over and the 2021 season can't get here fast enough for yours truly.. Time will move VERY slowly over the next 9 months..

Interesting...Dak talks about always having to fill in for the "guy in front of him". Hmmm, he also says it's been that way all his career, and guess what? That's how he became the QB of the Cowboys, because Romo got injured, and that is probably the only way he got the job.

If he is as good as he thinks he is, why was he always "behind" the starters? That's our 4th round QB, was not even drafted high because he was never considered the "first guy", always in second place waiting for an injury. I hope he sent Romo a thank you card.

Should have sent him a Get Well card, since he was always hurt.

At some point we have probably bashed any of the greats in Cowboy history if they didn’t align with the narrative we were peddling or if they spoke out against the opinions we agreed with or the players, coaches or front office we supported.

These fans are allowed to have their circle jerk as much as others are allowed to offer their harsh criticism. They probably shouldn’t interact together.

If fans who start these threads don’t want to take on the criticism probably shouldn’t start them in the main forum.
