We couldn't block Washington the 1st game and we couldn't defend them either game.

Better? Without question. Do we have a winning record? Tough to say. Washington, Pittsburgh, baltimore, Arizona all tough games that we lost without dak.

I’m just not sure he alone could overcome all those. Maybe we win the first Washington game, maybe Pittsburgh. Probably in first place in the division, but I still wouldn’t say we were a good team.

No question they win Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and probably at least 1 of the Washington games.

So 6-6. Would be in a worse spot because they’d be drafting 19th and not much hope to go past the divisional round

Dak or his stats wasn’t winning games before he got hurt. There is no evidence to support the notion that anything would have been different if he didn’t get injured. Wishing, imagining or hoping is not evidence. Playing the “if” game is not evidence either.

...nope, I honestly think Dak would have us at least 7-5. There were a few games the defense played well to win them. Of course with Dak at the helm. Dalton is just a leg worth all of Dak.

But I suppose whatever was not right with the team, would eventually get exposed.

9-7=2017
10-6=2018
8-8=2019
He started this season with 1 gift onside kick from 0-4.
Special note: Out of the above wins 6 are against the Giants and D.C.

Dak the savior, Dak the 40 million dollar man.....ya right.
At best right now we would have maybe 4-5 wins total now and out of any chance of picking up a quality QB in the draft.

Even the Giants game that some people give him the win for where he got injured. There is no guarantee that he would of won it. His fans arguments is that dak had the lead and then dalton lost and then regained it. Facts are he had a 1 point lead in a drive he got sacked on in the 3rd quarter. That is no guarantee that dak would've won that game if he had stayed in. It is entirely possible we would've been 1-4 after that game if Dak didn't get injured, that is the reality. The cowboys had a terrible season with dak and then without.

If Dak was playing they beat the Eagles. Not sure about the Commanders because the protection was horrible combined with the Commanders Dline is becoming a force. The biggest problem right now is Nolan and he needs to go. Even his track record has shown he hasnt done squat since he left Baltimore in 2003. All he has done at every stop is make defenses worse.

They wouldn't be much better. With the fumbles from Zeke, and maybe him having no pocket protection he gets a game or two more.

Who cares, the team isn’t that good. Dak gets you a couple more wins, but the team wasn’t going to accomplish anything.

I think not having Dak exposes just how bad this team is.

the question to me becomes is it worth it to spend $40mil on Dak ? The team sucks, Dak gets you a couple more wins but the team is still bad.

the injuries this season though are crazy, next year this crappy team will be average again and everyone will call for a super bowl.

I agree. With Dak we beat the Eagles, Vikes, Commanders once. So I think we would be 6-6.

You could throw the Steelers in there too. We only lost that game by 5 points with Garrett Gilbert at QB.

WEll I never said that.

I have no idea if we win the division or not. We probably do because it's so awful..

But we would have to beat Washington in a shootout with a Oline that couldn't block in the 1st game.

So which game do we beat Washington with Dak? Because you guys like to tell me he loses because of our defense and our defense was beyond awful in both Washington game while the OL also gave the QB no protection.

We do most likely beat the Eagles.

Could we win the division sure? Who cares anyways? I'd rather be this terrible than win the division. I want long term results.
