Before anyone jumps down my throat, I’m a Zeke fan.

At this point, I'm not a fan of Zeke's play or his value. He's just not that good.

But I didn't have complaints about his attitude. Always seemed to be trying.

This looks like a bad attitude, however. "Huh, I'm still getting paid."

Not only is that dismissive of valid criticism, it's also dishonest with himself.

Zeke is not getting paid because he's *worth* that much. Zeke is getting paid because his salary was guaranteed. That's why Jerry is still signing those checks. No team in the league would pay Zeke his contract now. I think we should just eat his 2021 salary as sunk cost to avoid guaranteeing his 12.4mil 2022 salary this March.

You must have missed the game. Pollard had over 130 yards and 2 TD's including a 40 yard game winning TD to ice it. And considering the Oline is terrible and the SF defensive line is strong, that was a heck of a showing. Beats Zeke's best game does it not this year?

I would say that was more than impressive. Especially since the Zeke apologists said he couldnt do it at all and was simply a change of pace back.

Obviously I was referring to what RBs are mainly used for, running. We can compare all purpose yards though. We'll see moving forward. You're all over the place, I never said Pollard couldn't do it, but pump the breaks, it was one game and it wasn't life altering. Teams are not calling for trades. I've stated numerous times we can use both and I stand by that. I'm not a "grass is greener" fan.

When he decided to hold out with 2 years remaining and took off for Mexico, he set this wheel in motion. Plenty of pissed off fans and if he stumbled, and he has, he had to know this was coming. I know these guys get celebrityitis and think they're extra special but this day was coming unless he kept up that production level and didn't lay the rock on the ground.

They don't sign those checks but they do put money in the bank account of the cat that does.

I disagree, there are more than enough fans that are still going to show up to games and buy gear that don't get triggered because a player said it like it was to the notion that someone with zero input thinks they're the salary authority or in charge of the roster. In fact, besides an anonymous internet forum, I bet there are tons more that just view football as entertainment and don't get wrapped up in that stuff. But for those that feel they are the authority and boycott team sales, why are they here? We've heard that a lot on these boards.

LOL...if I were in charge, and it was allowed, I would take this team to San Diego and make them train with the Navy Seals for just one week. None of them would make past day three. Yet, they want to get paid millions and millions and millions for entertaining us fools. It was hard enough just to join the Army...they probably would not even make it out of basic. But, pay me anyway...cause I dance so cool warming up before a game.
