I want to win Superbowls..Can’t just think short term.. Especially with a top 3 pick in hand.

Our future teams suffered from this.. Hopefully we at least go to the playoffs after destroying our draft.

That's why teams that always have such high draft picks, like the Jets, Jags, Lions, Bengals, Dolphins... are always winning the Super Bowl. Because of their high draft picks.

I was on team tank until we won a few weeks ago. After blowing the chance to get either Lawrence, Sewell, or Parsons, there's really no other "impact player" in this draft for us. Time to enjoy the ride.

Might as well hope for the best at this point. Dalton dimes was just too good to not get similar results to what we were getting before for us to ever just fall off.

Hopefully we beat NYG next week and somehow the Eagles decide to show up against Washington..

I don’t see this team doing anything in the post season.. I think we hurt our future teams quite a bit by not having that pic.

But what’s done is done..

The worst possible outcome is to have won 4 games in a row and lose our premium pick and not make the playoffs.

We have our starting QB for next season so tanking is irrelevant.
He wears # 14 and doesn't cost 40 million a year and will enable us to improve our defense!

The last 4 wins are over teams with a combined record of 20-38. The only thing these wins prove is that they can beat crap teams but still can’t compete with good teams.

This is good. Because this will give us clear evidence of whether our habit of signing veteran backup quarterbacks is really a good idea. If we make a deep playoff run, then yes. If we make the playoffs and get beaten badly, then tanking is the best idea.

I out this on the post game thread...I’m going to make an early statement based on this new coaching staff. I don’t want to hear a thing about tanking. If we tank then the same people are ALSO complaining that our new 1st yr coach sucks. You can’t have it both ways. I’d much rather still have a top 15 pick and show that the team has momentum. Spot on post. 2 outcomes possible.
In one, Washington wins and Dallas accomplishes absolutely nothing to include a weak draft spot.
In two, Washington loses, Dallas wins and does its standard one and done playoff performance with an even worse draft spot.

Either way, this team is incapable of winning a Super Bowl so whichever outcome occurs changes nothing.

I could care less if you use the term tank as to imply intentionally losing or just to lose out while still trying.

My opinion still remains the higher the pick, the better possible future team success if the right higher ranked players are chosen.

Regardless if Team Jones are doing the picking.

At the very least, the opportunity to choose a higher ranked player will be available.

That scenario is better for future team success than empty wins and lower ranked picks.
