But this is a question of circumstance as well. If we had drafted Cook or Lynch, who's to say that they wouldn't have been much better then they were, early on? A lot depends on how you bring them along and personnel around them. Lynch landed with a bad Denver team and went to a historically bad Raiders team. If Dak had gone to either of those teams, who's to say he would not have suffered the same fate? We don't know.

Which is why I still like Darnold and that is not a popular opinion right now but if he starts trending in the right direction let’s see how many people knew he’d be good all along and it was just a bad roster he is on (which is true).

What a terrible take. Connor cook was drafted on a good raiders team and they made the playoffs and connor cook had to play at the end of the year when carr's leg got broke and looked terrible.
Lynch has looked bad in every situation. And not like below average bad but like how did he get drafted at all bad.

Darnold sucked in college and sucks now. Turnover machines don't do well in the NFL

I’d love to see Dak start his career in NYJ and Darnold walk into what the Cowboys had.

Darnold also was way too young to leave college.

He has 4 years experience and is only 23.. He still has a lot of football in front of him and his team needs to provide him with something. They have the worst talent in the NFL.

They have the worst coach in the nfl. Talent has gotten a little better. But he's not good and still turns the ball over too much, and makes bad decisions. I watch the jets I live 20 min outside NYC.

what is strange regarding lynch is that he was chosen by the great elway himself. and if anyone should know qb's, it's elway. but i'll give it to john, he sets the qb bar high, and quickly moves on if they don't produce.
