Who is he to tell us what his Brother deserves? That door swings both ways.
No, it doesn't, he's his brother, we're just a bunch of critical fans. This isn't about football, it's about family. And I don't know anything about Tad Prescott.

Tad, your brother is a good player..

He's just not elite and guys like Dalton who aren't that good can win at a similar rate.

You guys need to go make your business decisions on some other team. I want to win championships and your brother wants money like he is capable of carrying a team when he's not that kind of player.

He needs a ton of support.

The Jones will cave in bank on it....some fan will cheer and be happy to regret it later on after many years of disappointment

Yep..

Dak will keep us relevant and that is all they really care about anyway.

They may say things but with the Jones's you have to look at their actions.

They do not mind status quo.

I'm not anti-Dak like some, but do people like his brother think this year was all about losing Dak? It's almost a shame he couldn't have played behind the worst offensive line we've had in almost 20 years and maybe the worst defense ever just to make it clear to everyone.

I'm thinking Tad wants Dak to get the biggest contract possible for selfish reasons, not because it benefits Dak. Maybe Tad has plans to avoid getting a real job for as long as possible, and that depends on how big of a contract Dak can get.

At least Baker can claim he's the QB that finally got Cleveland back in the playoffs after an 18 year drought. That should count for something I guess.
That's an assumption but I've got a feeling whether Dak makes 30M or 35M a year, he's taking care of his brother if that's necessary.

Other than the fact he's trying to defend his brother, and not doing a great job of it, do we know anything about him? We know one brother has committed suicide but we know very little about Dak's family.

As far as Mayfield is concerned, look what they've been putting around him to get there. Those RB's and that D are just as responsible for getting them there.

Fonzie, are we not used to that at most of the other positions? We've been here before at QB and will be again.

Baker is along for the ride.. He's a trailer.

Maybe he breaks out but right now he's nothing special.

He's just one of the many many QB's in this league that go as their team go. Paying these guys like they are elite has become a problem because guys like them are everywhere.

Many, too many. reduce it all down to the QB position. Dumbest thing is attaching the team's W-L record to the QB.

Good Lord. It's so unusual that his brothers money had made his head so big.

We were a watermelon kick way from being winless through 4 weeks this season with Dak. I like the kid, but get out of here.

And the NYG game was hardly in the bag. I think Dak had the Cowboys up by 2 and driving in the 3rd quarter against the winless NYG.

lol @ Tad Prescott. Social media is no one's friend when it comes to criticism. Twitter has been proving that for a very long time.

I would like to know what kind of relationship the brother's share. Have they always been close? A question gets thrown at those who claim greed is the motivation if they have always been close. What brother would not defend his sibling if they were being criticized?

Agree.. Which is why you should pay the elites and if you don't have an elite you should focus on building the team.

Because if your QB isn't elite than you can win games at the same rate with a guy like Andy Dalton.

Focus on building the team.

Unfortunately there is a salary cap and not having a high paid QB on the books gives you an edge.

Absolutely agree with that but they didn't start this lunacy, the owners did. Look where the level is now compared to just 5-10 years ago. We were shocked at 20M a year and that won't get a team a top 25 QB today, unless he's on his first contract.

I never blame the players in these situations. The owners created this empire of avarice and the players are just playing their part in it.

I don't know why so many were pissed at Todd France, Prescott's agent, he was doing his job for his client and for his profession because every position salary they push up the ladder, all the others follow.

The owners, in their greed and need for more offense to make the TV nets happy, create this monster and then wonder why they're paying QB's and WR's so much money. Laveon Bell saw what his team was paying the QB and WR and he was 40% of the offense, why should he not be paid at the WR's level?

And this is a brother that just recently lost his only other brother.

Twitter is all about emotion. More should apply the angry letter or email rule and wait to send it.

The guy thinks he has to run interference for his brother and defend him because he knows Dak will not do that for himself.

Put yourself in his place. One bother in the grave from a suicide, and recently, and his other brother being called out for what every other QB in the NFL is doing ands is going to do. He feels his family is under attack. What would you do?

And before you answer that, think about Dak's history going all the way back to high school and how his family, particularly his Mom, always had his back and believed in him. His Mom and a brother are gone, think this brother might be feeling just a little defensive and overprotective?
Public figures in all walks of life --politicians, sports stars, celebrities, etc.--- all are going to have detractors and attackers. This has been going on since civilization began. And with the advent of the internet, the keyboard critics are zealous...they go after the well-known often and enmasse. Their maliciouness and viciousness sometimes knows no bounds.
Relatives and friends of the famous just have to try their best to ignore it.
Replying back on Twitter and other social media just fuels the fire.

(Now if there are threats to do bodily harm involved --the loved ones should contact the authorities to find and punish those aggressors.)

very sad indeed Coach... and as long as the Jones operate it this way there is no real hope ... it has been more than 25 years do people think really that the Jones will change all of the sudden?
It is not about being a GM , coach,or player it is the chaotic chain of command they have created

Ummmm....what has Dallas won with his brother? Sounds like his brother is only trying to win by himself in hopes of leaching off Dak.
..sounds like Zeke's father. Daddio was augmenting why is his son deserved top RB pay..lol.. Then his son forgot how to hold the football.
