Got to fix the "D" it was a killer. Dallas was 0-16 when scoring less that 30 points. That's just too much to ask an "O" to do. period!

Dallas was also 0-3 in 2019 when the defense only gave up a total of 42 points in those 3 games......because the offense only scored 28 total points in those 3 games.....so stop with the skewed stat.

In 2019 the Dallas defense gave up a total of 321 points, which was an average of 20.1 points a game........and with an offense that scored a total of 434 points, an average of 27.1 points a game, the team still only managed to finish with an 8-8 record.

So again, stop blaming just the defense as clearly the offense was at fault as well for losses.

Cowboy fans saying "you can't improve accuracy" after 2019 just weren't paying attention. Dak got way more accurate on deep balls.

Now, let's see him work on short passes. It's weird how he has trouble with that, but I expect him to fix it, cause he's demonstrated that he works at getting better.

Resources into the defense. But they have done a piss poor job at using the resources wisely.

Dak is no Zeke, Brady sure as hell didn't play like a top 4 qb last weekend. You can only do so much with what you have to work with. Rodgers has been an iconic talent for some time and Mahomes obviously. I sware Rodgers does the most with the least. Lets see Josh Allen do it for a bit longer. Your not going to have access to any of those, so go bargain bin on the most important position then? Dak is a top ten qb, definitely not in the top 5, but he's still pretty good, you could do alot worse. He may be closer to top 8 now with the retirements, it's not going to be able to be easy to get better then that. Every team has a better defense than the Cowboys, that is where the main issue lies and overpaying alot of overrated players on the team, but you have to overpay qb, that is just how it goes.

They harnessed Allens talent. They worked on his mechanics and gave him some decent WRs to work with. You may improve it with your mechanics but after so many repetitions the QB is only going to be as accurate as his DNA gifts him. He might become more comfortable under pressure and control his nerves more which may help him. As a QB progresses in his career you will see moments where he displays his accuracy using ball placement and making very difficult higher risk throws under pressure showing what he is capable of.

So what your saying is Dak needs Zeke to win. You ever notice how Mahomes and Rodgers when their running game is getting stuffed they just start throwing screens and use that as their running game. And if thats not working they start throwing to the WRs or TEs. They get into the redzone and will lean on their arm against the good defenses. They use their legs to roll out or slide around in the pocket and can deliver a strike while off balance taking a hit. Of course these QBs fail at times but the one thing they can do is take ordinary players and make them better. Their play inspires the defense to take it to another level at times.

All 4 of those QBs have good defenses.

Daks had defenses better than anything Mahomes has ever had. We ranked 5th in 2016, 13th in 2017, 6th in 2018, and 11th in 2019. By comparison, Mahomes had defenses ranked 15th in 2017, 25th in 2018, 7th in 2019, and 11th in 2020.

Any other excuses? Dak now needs a top ranked defense to add to the list of talent required to make him a winner?
