I remember idiots saying QB’s can’t improve accuracy. Now fellating Allen after he improved his accuracy greatly.

Some of us even explained how accuracy and completion percentage are not the same thing and how an accurate QB new to the league can improve his completion percentage by working on something called timing.

Would any of those 4 teams been there if their starting QB was lost for the season due to injury? Would they even be in the playoffs had they lost several starters from their offensive line? Or were forced to play 3 different backup QBs during the regular season? Having a quality QB is important, but it takes more than that. Teams really need to buff up their strengths and make sure to limit their weaknesses. That takes more than just having a good QB.

outside of RBs and WRs no position should be ranked according to yards and even there you can argue.

So the argument against Dak is that arguably the greatest QB of all time, the best QB of this generation, one of the other potential best QBs of his generation, and a guy like Allen made it to the championship?

3 out of 4 of these guys were generational players. I don't know where you plan on finding one?

If anything, the fact that Allen was there should prove that we can do it with Dak, as well. Not to mention the fact that there are plenty examples of mediocre even bad QBs making it to and winning the SB.

You are aware that not all QB’s who are near the top in passing and top offenses play for championships?

Those 3 losses were to playoff teams much better than we are. It’s not uncommon for top 10 passing QB’s and offenses to be on less than championship caliber or perineal playoff teams.

See, it's hard to hear a 'real' argument when there are so many different versions, even from the same people. The 'real' argument (which you seem to making right now, at least, for the moment) is that he's too expensive. Except he most definitely was not too expensive when he was paid a 4th round rookie contract. And weird, I don't remember all that extra cash going towards free agents and the defense and constructing a championship calibre team.

No doubt great QB play can propel a team to greatness. But none of these teams had a defense like ours. Bucs and Chiefs both top 10.

Do they have the best of the best at QB. Of course . But it takes balance and good coaching.

The Cowboys lack in so many areas to specifically blame our QB. Very shallow evaluation.
