Stafford will be out of the NFL in 3 years or less. Back issues always tend to linger. Rams massively overcorrected for the massive mistakes they made signing players. They are just digging themselves a deeper hole IMO.
I would have thought something close to two 1s, a 3, and Goff would have got the Rams close to the top of the draft. At least Stafford is a known commodity. Interesting to see what it would take to move up in the draft for a qb.
Goff is def, the best of the worst here. AND YOUNGER. The Rams gave away the farm for a 2 year rental on a guy that is at the end of his rope. Trades like this are what gets alot of folks fired.the lions should be charged for grand theft.
better QB and a helluva crap load of picks.
who says he ever plays in Detroit? what if they trade him and use their draft capital to take a QB?Safe to say that Jared Goffs days as a starting QB are numbered. What do you think folks? 2 years as a starter in Detroit and then off to ride the bench as a backup?
Does he? I think its not so simple. They lack a true number 1 RB..the oline on the right side is a mess...and Stafford has had lingering back issues the last 2 years at least. This was a huge gamble. I admire the fact they put all their chips in the middle of the table.I don’t blame them. All in it, to win a super bowl. Stafford gives them a chance
No, wrong. Pay attention soldier...suggesting that Dalton is even close to Dak Prescott at this point in their careers is buffoonery.
If you think QBs consistently improving their mechanics and developing constantly isn’t a normal in the NFL then it further shows your buffoonery and lack of awareness. Gold Standard Carson Wentz whom the experts told us made the best throws regressed due to various factors. Dak Prescott mechanics sometimes revert to bad habit for various reasons but both QBS proved they can win.
Do you see the difference?
The rams will not win 9 games next season.
If the 49ers end up trading for a QB stafford is going to be the worst quarterback in that NFC West division.
Russel and Kyler ended the Rams window

not so much. Is he decent? Yes.Cam Akers
Stafford to me doesn’t represent being all in it...Tom Brady? Yes. Matt Stafford? I don’t see it.I don’t blame them. All in it, to win a super bowl. Stafford gives them a chance
Yeah nobody is taking on the Goff contract unless the Lions give them one of their firsts.BTW..do not rule out the Lions trading Goff before the draft. LOTS of teams need a QB right now. The Lions may have designs on a QB in round 1. Detroit is a bad team that is in rebuild mode, they need picks more than players. If I am a team like Washington, I am calling Detroit about Goff.
TheRams will be a playoff team for the next 2-3 years with SB a real possibility.Disagree. The Rams must now be favorites to win the NFC. They may have damaged their longer term future, but with Stafford they are a championship calliber team.
^^^bingowho says he ever plays in Detroit? what if they trade him and use their draft capital to take a QB?
Doubt they will, but they could.who says he ever plays in Detroit? what if they trade him and use their draft capital to take a QB?
You have to wonder what his value is if he got thrown into a deal for Matthew Stafford.....maybe Commanders call?BTW..do not rule out the Lions trading Goff before the draft. How different would the NFL history books have treated Mike Lynn if that Walker trade had finally brought them a ring?I don’t blame them. All in it, to win a super bowl. Stafford gives them a chance
could be, but do not underestimate desperation. A team like Washington or Miami might see an opportunity.Yeah nobody is taking on the Goff contract unless the Lions give them one of their firsts.
