Don't forget the newly signed beer endorsement deal....now Dak can continue to throw his Covid parties and sleep easy knowing he passed for 500 yards in spite of his team losing.

I guess I just don't see giving up 2 1st and a 3rd to replace the player you just signed early for huge money as fixing a mistake. It sounds to me like its taking 1 mistake and another mistake to it.I think you missed Hawkeye's point. He's saying: If you make a mistake, own it, make remedy and move on. Rams did that with Gurley and did it again here.
Mistakes aren't the end of the world.
Depends on who they are trading with.I guess I just don't see giving up 2 1st and a 3rd to replace the player you just signed early for huge money as fixing a mistake. It sounds to me like its taking 1 mistake and another mistake to it.
Maybe Stafford is the missing piece for them. Maybe he plays for 5 more seasons and becomes elite. To me he is a A- or B+ QB. Not sure a 33 year old player of his caliber is worth that much.
Now if they traded that for Desean Watson I could see the kudos.
Image what the Texans asking price for Watson just became? 4 firsts?
Wasn't Ramsey in a contract year?Well...there's a learning moment here. As word is something like 6 teams offered a 1st or more.
But, who knows...maybe you'll be proved right and all those GM's will look silly.
BTW...the Jalen Ramsey trade looks smart by me.
The only redeeming part of this trade for the Rams is they are only obligated to Stafford for 2 years , so if Matty degrades they have an out.
Otherwise this is an insane deal in favor of the Lions...................
Rams are idiots. Two firsts, a third for, and Goff, for Stafford?
Surely we can get two firsts for Dak now?
If Matty degrades that will be the end of the wonderboy coach. In fact he is on the hot seat to deliver after this.
No, wrong. Pay attention soldier...suggesting that Dalton is even close to Dak Prescott at this point in their careers is buffoonery. My buffoonery that just had you agreeing that Dak's mechanics, 4 and 5 years into his NFL career, are still a problem that need addressing and yet many want to pay him a king's ransom.....for what? Because of their personal love fpr Dak? Their fear that Dallas will not find another QB? That is nothing but desperation making poor decisions.
This video features goal post, end zone, shifting and inability of the Vikings to defend Dak...
The rams will not win 9 games next season.Hate to say it, wait, no I don't. I told you he would pull at least a 1st when I suggested the Cowboys offer that 10th pick but that wouldn't be enough. The rumor was a 2021 2nd and 2022 1st but they sweetened that deal, wonder why? Because they didn't want the Niners getting him.
The Rams window is as wide open as it's going to get and all they needed was a good QB and regardless of the opinion of those I don't consider very good at evaluating QB's, that is exactly what Stafford is and you will see that now that he's with a good team with good coaching.
Stafford is a lot better than what you saw in DET and only had one real weapon in his time there; however, he is responsible for Golden Tate's rise and getting those nice FA contracts.
I was dead wrong about something, the Cowboys trading for him. They would have been left in the dust because he wanted to go to a contender.
I'm no Goff fan at all. I think he is soft and a system QB.Man... Goff has been bad. Dude has been top 5 in turnovers from Mid 2018 to present day. Also outside of top 20 in TDs and QBR. For the $ he got he’s clearly been crap.
Safe to say that Jared Goffs days as a starting QB are numbered. What do you think folks? 2 years as a starter in Detroit and then off to ride the bench as a backup?
Rams are idiots. Two firsts, a third for, and Goff, for Stafford?

Not a good trade at all for the Rams in terms of what they had to give up. Stafford is definitely talented, but he's up there in years, so the only way it won't be considered such is if the Rams win a Super Bowl out of it, but this is most certainly a gamble, and can only be known in retrospect.
