Exactly it was defense and if the Cowboys pay Dak they wont be able to build a great defense. Your right Dak is no where near avoiding pressure as Mahomes. Some of those scrambles were amazing.

To win a SB you have to first get there lol.
Dak will never even get to a SB, and it isnt all on him, but on the jones boys, and the country club culture they have.

Tb won 3 road games in playoffs, to get to the SB, then beat the best team in NFL when there.
They won their last 8 games, +3+SB =14 games in a row.
This was all because of their qb Tom Brady, and his experience , he changed the culture and made them believe they could do it.

You can say any qb could have won that game, but actually TB would not have played as well with any other qb.
Brady has won more SB's than any other player or TEAM lol , yeah sure any qb can do what he does.:rolleyes:

So do any of you think Dak and cowboys can really do what tampa did this year???????:huh::eek:
Me I say no way, with dak without dak it doesnt matter. They are not getting to another SB.

Mahomes is way better than Dak, but when facing a top defense with right game plan, he was stifled .
KC could not stop TB and Brady, and they have a decent defense.

You cant compare dak to either of these qb's (both are far superior). and as far as teams /players/coaches , both teams have way more talent than the cowboys will ever have.

I will add that I wanted the jones boys to at least try to get brady, but they had no interest in him, and many here said he was done, washed up etc.
But IF they had got him, I doubt even Brady could have changed the culture here (it is too toxic, and all about individuals , not the team), or got the team to the SB, It is possible, but we will never know now,
because jones boys had no interest in him.

The thing is Jerry you have to know that last year, not after the SB this year lol.

Given that Trent Dilfer and a washed up Peyton Manning have Superbowl rings pretty much any QB can win a Superbowl if they have an elite defense.

But if you overpay a QB then you are really struggling to be able to pay the quality free agency players unless your front office is continually able to acquire bargains and hit on difference makers every season.

So it comes back to the same old issue of managing the salary cap. The greatest QB ever was on $25 million a season and his team won the Superbowl with an elite defense.

What happened to your hero being the best QB in the NFL...bar none...and being able to carry his team and win a SB? He got exposed during last year's SB that they won. I said it back then that Machokes didn't deserve to be named last year's SB MVP. Looks like the Buccs studied that film and brought the heat. They exposed this chump. So you can put that in your pipe and smoke it! lol

My hero???? This from the guy who has an image of Dak in a cowboy hat as his member image......do you have Brokeback Mountain thoughts of Dak often?
