Winter and, by that, I mean pull up your big boy pants cold, has arrived in NW Montana. The highs for the next three days will around 0 F. With wind chill factored in, we're looking at the temperatures around -20 F.

Around 18 right now which it has been for the last 3 days or so, colder air arrives this weekend which is going to drop that by another 10-15 degrees. Also possibly could get a good batch of snow Sat/Sun/Mon, could possibly be an historic storm with around 10 days in a row on temps below freezing.

On another note today just 5 mins from me on I35 because of ice a 70 car pile up this morning with 5 dead so far. Very sad.

Winter Storm Uri | Arctic Air Clashing with Gulf Air | Potential Historic Major Ice & Snowstorm

It's brutally cold here in northern Oklahoma and supposed to get colder with a major snowstorm coming tonight that's supposed to last a few days. It's been hard the last several days tending to livestock. I haul 5 gallon buckets of water from the house to the critters twice a day and bust up ice in water troughs 3 times a day. Looks like another week of this before I get a break from freezing my old bones to the marrow.

Finally snowed here in Boise. We got dumped on the last 2 nights and have about a good 6 to 8" of snow. My 2 Huskies are loving this.
